When i was in college I drove a shuttle that picked up truckers from their "OC" (operation center i think)
i worked for a hotel that hosted them. They would stop in for maintenance etc
I was nervous at first because i am an average driver, kinda nerdy suburban white kid. But 90 pct of the truckers were fuckin great. They are working men, never snobby. Lots of rednecks and small town people but generally good dudes.

I did it for 6 months in 2012. Every trucker I met was nice. The number one thing a trucker wants is to pickup asap and dropoff asap. so don't be lazy and slow and you'll be dandy senpai.
