Yeah. It backed Independence and went from 2 seats to 6 [2 of those from the SNP, all of them on the PR-list.] at the election 2 days ago. Now they're wishy-washy on it [they want a petition with like a million signatures before asking the question again.]

They stood a vanity candidate in an Edinburgh FPTP seat, splitting the vote and giving it to the leader of the Scottish Conservatives.

They think that along tribal independence lines, they hold huge sway over the SNP [2 short of a majority] but the SNP have been here before and will just work with other parties to find those 2 votes, calling the Green's bluff any time they can. They can be quite blindingly stupid.

On policy they're what you'd expect, higher taxes, more immigration/refugees [not in Scotland's control anyway - that's for London to decide], muh environment, generic left wing party.

>They are literally being raped and murdered
According to which reputable source? (make sure it's a government one)

>But they came to us, because we're a signatory to the UN declaration on refugees.
Yes, and we are keeping them safe. We do not need to do anything else.

>Where they will likely be shot as political opponents of the regime they fled
An article in 2009 about an event in 2008. It may help if you go a little bit more recent, as these so called "issues" may have been resolved or better managed.

Regardless, I do agree with you to a point. The death of that man could have been avoided by sending him to another country

>Ok so the way "burden of proof" works is that the person making the original claim must be the one to prove their claim.
Yep, I'm aware.

>Safe schools indoctrinating children was YOUR claim. You have to prove it
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-03-22/q&a-student-warns-safe-schools-debate-hurting-kids/7264416
"The materials in the program say we shouldn't use the terms 'boys' and 'girls', 'ladies' and 'gentlemen' anymore, we should use gender-neutral terms,"

"children in years seven and eight being asked "to pretend that they are aliens from another planet who come here and they are genderless, and they are asked questions about what would they do without any genitals"."

What do you think this will do to kids who are in one of the most unstable periods of their lives and will most likely absorb any information given to them?

It is indoctrination. You're not allowed to speak against it, only accept it.

As for your claim, please prove it.

>How bad was Abbott?

Not as bad as it seems. He had an excellent minister in scott morrison (now treasurer) who was given a job and did it well. There were other successes as well because he had some other good ministers and he was able to effectively govern in general.

He just fucked the overall strategy. He made key mistakes (e.g. he gave Prince Philip a knighthood) that made him seem like he just failed to understand his position and Australian politics. This was made worse by the media presence of his chief of staff, who very clearly had way too much power. This gave the impression of a PM being pushed around by his bitch wife.

There were a lot of circumstances that came together to form the impression of a man who was out of touch and wasn't really in charge anyway.

America needs a Trump because their country is essentially screwed with their current government, their extremely overpriced universities, the lack of jobs and the illegal mexican problem which we essentially have none of those thing and don't forget their SJWs are 10x worse than what we get in Australia

Brits have a refugee problem, 1,400 kids got raped and they have sharia law zones whist been backstabbed by obama and the EU
We can't relate to this

Australia isn't as bad when you really look into it, but however it's increasingly getting worse and this coming election is very hard to decide which party will actually be the best for Australia, the last thing we want is having Greens opening up the borders and us having to deal with a bunch of rapefugees whilst lazy cunts all over the country are using my taxes on the legalized DUDE WEED

The asylum seekers start a riot, and someone got bashed so hard he died, in the middle of a riot.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

The Australian Government should have done more, but in the middle of a riot with such a large population, you really can't do much. Especially with PNG locals who aren't actually Australian Citizens.

>Roleplaying is a stock standard empathy building technique. Claiming that being asked to consider how someone different to you might view the world is indoctrination is like saying violent video games train killers.
You're taking people in the middle of Puberty and forcefully placing a viewpoint into them. They're not going to be able to rationally think that out when all they're focused on is sex and random pleasure.

>Teenagers are much smarter than you claim.

The story of the NBN compounds what a depressing shithole Australia is

Every single country on earth is investing in FTTP rollouts because it's the only viable tech for upgrading internet infrastructure in existence.

The politicisation and destruction of the NBN has to be one of the most baffling and frustrating things I've ever witnessed and even more so the complete lack of outrage at it from the Australian public.

You know your country is retarded when it views the upgrading of internet infrastructure of as a cost and not an investment

How to find out if your local MP is a TRAITOR:
1. Find your electorate, enter your suburb here
http://apps.aec.gov.au/esearch/

2. Click the link to your electorate from the results. There may be more than one result, pick the first one.

3. Click "More information about the electorate". This will list the history of sitting members. The first one is the current sitting member. WRITE THIS DOWN.

4. Search this list for that member. If there's a match, your sitting member is SCUM and it is your duty to vote against them.

https://truebluenz.com/2015/09/15/list-of-mps-who-voted-for-malcolm-turnbull-in-australian-pm-spill/

If they don't appear in this list, then please support them at the election. We need to weed out the scum while still supporting true blue liberals. Note: Some of these members are retiring, so you might want to do some research.

We actually don't have a single party worth voting for. Many people here would argue for Liberal Democrats but just check out this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RBj57fOSVM
and see if you can get excited about that, I can't. Whatever is going on in the rest of the world politically does not seem to apply here. Maybe it is because we have it too easy here, I don't know. In my opinion everything that was good about the Australian character and people has gone now, everybody is just pretending now.

Genuinely surprised with this result considering I answered to increase military spending and activity and put my anti-abortion response as most important.
Guess that's what I get for giving a shit about the environment.
>family first on healthcare issues
Fuck.

Fuck it lads, Australian Liberty Alliance and Derryn Hinch Justice Party are the only ones that come close to my views.

Fuck Liberal for being Globalist Packer shills, Fuck Labor for being Corrupt Union shills who drank at the SJW well, and by the power of the Rainbow Snake fuck the Greens for everything and that alliance with Gillard.

Is this good or bad? How is the Australia Liberal party?
>>
>>73283850
The equivalent of the Tories of Britain and the Neo-cuckservatives in the US.

Bad, but by far not the worst.
>>
>>73283747
The Lib Dems also are in favour of an open border policy that would make the greens blush. They want free movement within and between all countries.

Sorry for broken links, my shitty browser added slashes to the end.

I love the fact that the Political system here has alliances and shit between minor/major parties. Shit like that would never happen in the US.
>>
>>73283809
It's still there m8, we just have not a single major party worth voting for because the Australian character is naturally apolitical and suspicious of power.

It's why we are run by such blatant weirdos.

It is dead in the cities amongst the younger generations.

Maybe the elderly and rural people are still keeping the flame lit.

Maybe not though. Greedy selfish cunts popping up everywhere now.
>>
Does Turnbull really have the guts to call DD election while trailing in the polls?
>>
Which political party has the "Ross Lyon will NEVER EVER win a flag" policy lads?
>>
>>73283993
I take the Jew Front who shill Israel that recognizes the Islamic threat to Australian culture and character over Major Parties that will pussyfoot and shill diversity whilst funding Israel anyway.
>>
>>73284212
Yes. He knows the polls are bullshit and he will still win.

Also if he hesitates it will destroy his credibility. He is already earning a reputation as a flim-flam shilly-shally bog-flog.
>>

>Islamic threat
The real threat is our own socially liberal class and the economic globalists. There are fuck all muslims in Australia (though they are very shitty).
>>
>>73284191
Nah m8 despite all the problems and pressures, among at least the Anglo-Saxon males the banter and accent is still strong.

I swear all our adolescent girls sound like they spent half their life in California however, the very worse of American Teen slang.
>>
>>73284282
This. It's almost as if Europe is committing suicide and Labour/ Greens want to copy them.

Oh wait, that's exactly what it is.

No m8, everyone talks like they are on estrogen treatment.

Even I sound like a massive poofter and it breaks my heart.
>>
>>73284339
We live next to Islamic Majority countries that are extremely poor, thinking the problems fine because they are small is the kind of thinking that led to the first London Islamist Mayor.

Our socially liberal ruling class are going out the door naturally as the West uncucks itself, the alt-right is rising throughout the world as a counter-culture movement unlike any other.
>>
>>73283937
I'm not surprised. Culture, ethnicity and welfare seem to be irrelevant concepts to a Libetarian. We are just figures on a spreadsheet to them, either a net gain or a net loss. David Leyonhjelm is probably the most uninspiring and cold hearted politician I've ever come across.

However all our parties are fairly shit, Greens and Labor been the worst
