Curious as to what /pol/'s reaction to this is.
Personally, I saw it beginning with a hatred of an economic class of people who had no interest in conforming to society, and who were doing very well while the common German starved.
I also think the conclusion sits on a very slippery slope, as the logical conclusion to this argument is to divide the Gross World Product up, and give every single person, regardless of their economic output, the same.
There were no gas chambers.
And it started when Jews decided to Jew the Germans, first stabbing the country in the back during WWI, then by starting a civil war after WWI.

They saw the banking and merchant classes (mostly Jews) thriving while the common Germans were struggling to get by, and a man named Hitler came out talking about the class division, and pointed out that the thriving class didn't even consider themselves German, but Jewish. His proposed solution was Nationalism combined with Democratic Socialism. He promised the German people a lot of reform in order to save the common man from predatory politicians, bankers, and merchants.

There were 120,000 victims of this crime, 62% of which were US citizens.

As for the "us vs them" mentality, the human mind is built to group things together, and it was built that way through evolution. It may be an outdated instinct, but that has yet to be seen, for while it managed to result (in the instance of Nazi Germany) in concentration camps, it also served the US well when it came to the USSR, who had bread lines and used light therapy for cancer even in the early 1990's.

Wouldn't have happened if France and company didnt squeeze Germany for all it had after WWI and tanked their economy. Places with shitty economic situations are where socialists and communists gain the most traction. Hitler was able to return Germany to being an economic/military powerhouse just by ignoring the restrictions put in place by the allies.
