Some of them are reacting to the lack of masculine men in today's culture. Nu-males and male homos are the cause of this. And women, contrary to pop-culture's tropes, need sex more than men. They can't go long periods without sex; they need the validation, they have poor self-control, and girls just wanna have fun. Female sexuality is inherently self-focused - men fuck women, women don't fuck men. Men's magazines tell men how to better please women, and women's magazines tell women how to better enjoy sex. A woman that is attractive to men is also attractive to women.

As a lesbian myself, my feelings about other women reflect the idea that many redpilled guys say about gender roles: You need to have a "Male" and "Female" in a relationship to work.
For some perspective, I am the "Male" in my relationship with my girlfriend. (No, this doesn't mean I look like a turbo-charged, grossly overweight, perpetually offended bulldyke. I actually look like a 9/10 Blond, and my girlfriend is the same, sans the blond hair, I love my girlfriend's black hair. I also take pride in my feminine appearance, and so does she.)
Being the man in the relationship means taking a great deal upon my shoulders, and having to suck up pain and suffering, rather than crying about it or getting someone else to help me. When I didn't get the promotion at my office, I didn't cry about it or scream "Sexism!" but instead put more effort in, and got promoted the next year. Nowadays you have people bleating discrimination at the first perceived slight, no matter how real or imagined, without taking a careful moment to stop, reign in their outrage, take a few good breaths, then assess the situation. Granted, there are situations of real discrimination, such as religious nut-jobs, but most of these are generally clear cut for outsiders to see.

I do have my girly pursuits, such as flower arranging and spa outings, but I'd much rather go drinking with male coworkers after work than come back home and eat bonbons to inflate my ass while watching daytime soaps or gossiping endlessly about some brain-dead celebrity scandal. I also taught myself home repair, so that when something goes wrong, I don't have to call someone to fix it. I am in charge of most of our house's finance, and my girlfriend can depend on me to do anything a man might do. I set the rules for the house as well, since it's mine.
My girlfriend, on the other hand, is the ideal effeminate girly type. Although she has a job, she only works 2 days a week, and the rest of the time she is at home tending to the house and our kids (We had a guy fuck each of us because we wanted to get pregnant. I didn't enjoy it, but I endured well enough. We have a daughter by me, and a son by her.) I prefer the man's role, she prefer's the woman's. She gives me love and affection, and tends to our kids and looks after all 3 of us for our comfort and well being, and is nice and obedient to me at all times (Especially in bed!) and in exchange I maintain our house financially, as well as enforce discipline and serve as a role model.
Maybe this seems sexist, but, well, it's not really. Anyone can choose this type of relationship, but you need to have defined roles and delineation and division of tasks. While I do believe women deserve equal rights with men, I often find myself distancing myself away from feminists because they want more freedom without responsibility. But real freedom means you have the same responsibilities as men, and don't get to be coddled any more than they do when you get a bloody lip, or suffer misfortune.
TLDR: Homosexuality isn't the problem, it's the culture that has sprung up around it believing every relationship participant can be everything at all times, when really you need some traditional roles and values
