I don't know how shitty the water is in the Netherlands mate, but in Greece it is very clean.
Also, pools are very fucking dirty, especially public ones. Really disgusting. The only reason to have a pool is because the sea is way too far away or it's dirty, in my opinion at least. Jacuzzis are pretty sweet tho.
