This. I've always been into Anglo-Saxon Paganism as a study, I don't really pracitise it. I did go to a moot a few times on mayday last year and a few other festivals but they base it all off of Norse paganism rather than Germanic when theres no evidence of a lot of stuff in Norse ever being practised by the Germanic lot. For example we have Frige which is similar to Freyr but she was also Wodans wife. They were the same in our mythology and in Frankish, Langobard and other Germanic tribes.
Its too hard to reconstruct it and doing it using Norse and other Germanic tribes to do so it like recreated Christianity using Judaism and Islam as references.
