I am a libertarian, but I understand the concept that our time is not yet. You are right, Trump is an authoritarian, but I am gonna vote for him anyway, you wanna know why?
He did was our candidates couldn't do. Ron Paul senior couldn't defeat the Republican establishment, Rand Paul Jr. couldn't do it either. How did Trump do it? Not with money. He did it by being provocative. I don't like the man's policy, but I am going to vote for him because he is anti-PC, and political correctness is the greatest danger facing America today. I do believe he'll reduce at least some aspects of government, especially if he picks people like Ben Carson to be on his cabinet. Can you imagine a department of education headed by Carson? He would cut the department in half, if not more.
Libertarianism is not ready for America yet. I want it too, I really do, but the time is not now. For now just enjoy the ride.
