Hello, currently Hillary leads by 5-8 points in all polls.

This is what it would look like, most optimistically for Trump.

What do you believe?
>>
>>72986947
>lol how will Trump win the Republican nomination? Jeb Bush is beating him by 10 points! Nice try Trumpsters
Nothing he hasn't done before.
>>
>>72987232
The difference is that Trump has been behind Hillary for months now. Trump overtook Jeb almost instantly.

He's made a terrible name for himself at the sake of winning the primaries
>>
>>72987830
The difference is that Trump has no where to go but up. Clinton is not going to gain any new voters. She's dead in the water and barely fending off Sanders. Trump just needs 5-8 points to beat her. That's easy.

Factor in that Clinton supporters are not very enthused by her and therefore not likely to turn out to vote while Trump supporters are near fanatical and you have guaranteed Trump win. He is outplaying her just like he outplayed 13 other Republican candidates.

What's with everyone assuming Ohio is in the GOP column?

Ohio will probably be blue. This is what the polls and past voting history indicate.

There haven't been enough polls done on Nevada and Colorado so I am not sure who will win those states.

Iowa is a tossup.

Virginia could go either way as well. I'd say it leans blue though.

Florida, I think, leans red. Obama very narrowly won it in 2012 and Trump is popular there. The Hispanics in Florida are also primarily of Cuban origin and they tend to dislike Mexicans.

That's my take.
>>
>>72988786

He has a better chance of getting Michigan than Virginia.
>>
>>72986947
NC isn't deep red it's a purple state like VA is.

No chance for Trump to win. It's not even his fault though, it's impossible for any Republican to win at this point; the demographics are too far in favor of the Dems.
>>
>>72988933
Florida will go red for sure. Ohio and Virginia lean more blue but if Trump has strength in the rust belt he'll win Ohio.

He won't win Pennsylvania though. If Trump wins Pennsylvania, Hillary wins Arizona.

>>
>>72990610
No. In most swing states Democrats were more satisfied with a Clinton nomination than Sanders nomination.

Most of them agree that Bernie & Hillary energized the party, not divided it.

Hillary is more moderate compared to Trump. Moderate republicans may lean towards Hillary while I can never see a Bernie supporter vote for Trump, a person on the complete other side of the spectrum. The individuals who vote for Trump instead of Hillary were never going to vote for Hillary in the first place.

If we're going off of polling, votes, and election history, I made this so that it would be the most accurate map statistically speaking. Trump needs to spend his time in the NorthEast and find a candidate who will support him here for VP like Scott Walker or John Kasich to seal the deal in those states. It sucks, but him winning is better then losing with an ebin VP.
>>
>>72990470
The question is going to be if the increased turnout he created can overcome that. I also think some of those will decide to vote for Trump anyway as we get closer to election day, and the question of the Supreme Court nominees really starts to weigh on people's minds.

On the democrat side you have moderates & leftists

The strongest demographic for Bernie & Trump have been white males. It's not enough to win a general election, the reason Romney lost specifically was due to failing to do well with women & minorities.
>>
>>72991993
>muh minority pandering
It's not necessary. Romney would have won with like 3% more of the white vote. Trump will definitely nail more men than Romney (probably 60%). Trump's best strategy is to flip blue collar whites to try and get some of the rust belt or north east; it's viable and can win the election.

Nowhere on that page did it say that 1 out of every 5 Republicans wouldn't vote for Trump in a general. Also the voter turnouts for a party show a stigma of the current voting trends of a nation. So based on this evidence we can tell that the Republican party as a whole is doing much better than the democrats and that this general is poised in the Republicans favor and will be extremely competitive.

Hispanics only matter in Florida. Married women will end up voting the same as their Husbands which will be mostly Trump which is good enough. States like PA and VA are mostly white, so minorities don't matter and of course the South is safely red. Get more white men and you win. That's the best strategy.

We all know Trump would have a tough time in Virginia. His campaign is going to heavily target PA,Wisconsin,Michigan,NH It's depending on who his running mate. All Democratic strategists agree that Trump will have a good chance in the rustbelt. Also one note on the map. He is polling ahead in Colorado and tied in Iowa right now. I'm not a Trump shill and I know it will be tough for him to win. His key is the rust belt. If he can win one of ethier Colorado,Iowa,NH, and Wisconsin, than he wins. If he can't swing one than it doesn't look good.

In the "trending" segment in local LA news, they talked about Republicans voting their registration cards. As if burning those even matter.
>>
>>72992864
It is that kind of a state, but many democrats get elected because nearly all the population of NH is in the Southeast part which is bordering libshit Massachusetts. As a result, many of these Souther NH residents are Massholes who moved here to avoid excessive taxation and subsequently cry that they don't have tax funded garbage pick up and "mo money of dam programs".

Having said that, democrats that are elected in NH know damn well not to touch the subject of guns and are also aware that enacting a sales tax would guarantee the end of their political careers. As for guns, we also have GONH, a very active gun rights group that has stopped democrats in the past from enacting restrictions.

They don't care about the illegal children, they care about the votes and they're just expanding their voting base so they can certify dems to turn Texas purple, once they do that Republicans can never win the presidency ever again.

With cuban immigration reform probably happening next, they'll never be able to win Florida either again.

Clinton's supporters might not be enthused by her, but the average American is worried about a Trump presidency. He has his work cut out for him to prove to the public that he can be a legitimate statesman and give us specific policy that's grounded in reality. "America makes bad deals. I'll make good deals" doesn't count. Can he do it? I'm not sure, he was obviously trying to last night, but he's really going to have to hit the books if he wants to present himself as a viable commander-in-chief.

I am an independent voter who loathes Hillary and Bill even more, but Trump hasn't convinced me that he even wants to be president. Much less that he's capable.
