In addition to winning Florida and Ohio, Trump will need to win one of Pennsylvania, Virginia, or North Carolina in order to defeat Hillary. Which of the three, if any, is most likely to go Trump?
>>
>>72927230
north carolina
>>
All three, and even New york
>>
>>72927283
This. Virginia is a long shot, and PA is impossible. NC is guaranteed to go red.

>North Carolina, not even a contest.

Not that North Carolina, Florida, and Ohio are enough for Trump to win on their own.
>>

North Carolina.

FL is a lock but not Ohio. He can get NC easily.

Trumpettes really are the delusional types.

Trump is going to win states that you never thought possible. He is going to win Massachusetts. Just watch.

Just throw it in the garbage.

Clinton is currently leading him in there polls there, albeit just barely. It also went blue twice last two elections. It's not a lock, not yet anyway.

that would be a magic trick
>>
>>72927333
Trump will need democrat help for NY but it is possible with him and impossible for others. By help I mean, Clinton would have to really fuck herself over. Which she has been prone to do.
>>
>>72927621

This has Trump doing better among African-Americans, you are fucking delusional if you think he's going to do better than Romney among Hispanics
>>
>>72928005
This, Cali too cucked, he might MAGA enough to maybe make this true in a couple decades tho.
>>
>>72927334
I feel like PA is a wildcard. The nine-month budget stalemate, the Keystone XL, the political scandals, the severance tax debate, it's all left the state rather disaffected. If we have a chance of going red, this year is it.
>>
>>72927230
He won't win FL.
Even the Cuban ex-pats and their progeny don't like him.

even though the states split on hillary and sanders, theres too much butthurt over trump.

With any luck, they'll be too afraid to go out and vote

Also, isn't most of the growth from kids? Seems like it would take another decade or longer to be of voting age, if they vote.
>>
>>72928596

Unless Minority turnout tanks an unprecedented amount (and there's no reason to suggest it will), Trump's going to need to win the White Voters of California by at least 40%, which just isn't happening

Most of the growth occurred at least decade ago, so most of the anchor babies are able to vote now.
>>
>>72928596
thats somewhat true. most people from my college from staff to students are voting for bernie, same as my work and familia.

i wouldn't doubt it if they vote for hillary in the general.

What part of VA?

I'm concerned that Trump will run weak in NoVA which could well outweigh his improved margins in Appalachia

The way this election is going to play out is a near landslide in one direction or the other, it won't be a close race at all. Either Trump will succeed in crashing Hillary's campaign with no survivors just like he did to all of his opposition in the Primaries, or Hillary and the liberal media machine will hit home with their slandering and finally stump Trump. I'm leaning toward the former, just because they've already thrown everything that you could conceivably think of against Trump. They have already been fucking playing the literally Hitler card for months now to zero effect.
>>
>>72928030
He already has been.

as a californian, what does my vote for trump in the general election do assuming cali goes blue as always?

moral support
>>
>>72932210

Polls with small cross-tab sample sizes are not good indicators. The man has record unfavorable ratings among Hispanics (when dedicated polls of Hispanics are taken) - he is not going to do better than Romney among Hispanics.
>>
>>72927230
North Carolina, but Florida also close.
>>
>>72932313

On its own? Nothing. Maybe you will help Trump win the popular vote (since there's a good chance Trump can win the electoral college without winning the popular vote).

However, Trump's going to need support from the down-ballot - show up to vote for that.
>>
>>72932355
Blah, blah, you've been blathering this same tired nonsense for months. It won't work.
>>
>>72927576
More people voted for Hillary in Mass. than they did in total in the Republican primary.

Do you have any proof that Hispanics are already supporting Trump in larger numbers than Romney?

What does Trump offer Hispanics specifically that Romney did not (besides the threat of family being deported) - and why do you think they will be immune to the media pushing a narrative of "Trump is racist against Hispanics"

Trump will do worse among Romney among Hispanics. That alone is not enough for him to lose the election - but we need to be realistic (and not pretend that Trump can win places like NY, for example)
>>
>>72927230
Ohio, PA, and Virginia are all mining states. Hilary is anti coal, and they fucking hate her. Blue collar is going red this year. Screenshot this. He takes WV,VA,KY,PA,OH in the general

You guys don't get it. The opinions held now are not the opinions that will be held in November. Trump is going to humiliate and expose Hillary and make her look like a scheming little corporate criminal that doesn't know what she's doing. She is going to be a laughingstock by November.

Ohioans seem more anti-Trump these days, so no I don't see it happening. Ohio is one of the most disappointing states to live in.

But Ohio is a swing state, they're not always one to reflect the numbers. More often than not Ohio will disappoint people. I'm telling you guys, I've lived here 20 years you're going to be disappointed with Ohio like I am every single day of my life living here. Fuck I hate this place.

>>72934024
Youngstown. Zoom in onto Ohio with Google Maps. Suburbs and strip malls and drifter towns everywhere. The only saving grace of the state is the rural areas, and who knows how long before all of that land is taken up by private business?
>>
Democrats beat the shit out of republicans in voter numbers in every primary so far except Indiana.
Almost double.
>>
>>72934085
Normally i'd agree, but the turnout this year was completely unprecedented.

Trump got 10% more votes than ALL 2012 candidates combined....
Anything could happen, make sure you get to the polls.
