Yep, this thread is spot on. Bernie had every opportunity to be the boss and swamp Hillary, but he lacked the meme magic and willingness to play dirty. Hillary has always played dirty. She could have told superdelegates to vote with their conscience based on who won their district, but didn't. She could have NOT STOLEN BERNIE'S ENTIRE PLATFORM ON DAY ONE, but she did. She could have not blatantly pandered to the black community, but she did. Sanders didn't get dirty, so he lost.
That's why it's different with Trump. Nobody's dirtier. I wouldn't be surprised if we heard comments about Hillary's vagina during this campaign. Trump will dig up everything possible on her and throw it all in her face at every opportunity. Combine that will his now well-honed political meme game and I'd put 100:1 odds on Trump winning.
Then Clinton will blame Sanders. She won't know what hit her so she'll start lashing out. The only question is when the breakdown will be. My only worry is that Trump, who can determine the exact date of that breakdown, will miscalculate and put it in the wrong place. But I doubt it.

Yes I agree, and I wish Bernie had done it. Trust me, I would have liked nothing better. I have a rainbow Bernie poster on my wall, a Bernie sticker on my car, and I even got a Birdie sticker. I made a couple small (~$3) donations to the campaign too, although I've been completely uninvolved, even on social media, Reddit, 4chan, etc.
But he didn't bother fighting. It wasn't worth it to him, or maybe he lacked the capacity. I think he had enough energy. I'm disappointed in him tbqpfh, he only started going hard when he was already losing, and it totally worked (look at all these recent wins) but by then it was too late. Surprisingly I haven't even donated a single dime to Bernie, no matter how much of a "shill" I might seem like on here to some of these people. I've only recently just became more interested in him and what he stands for.

He's a newcomer to politics, we have no track record on him regarding politics, how he's dealt with political issues and deals, how much he flip flops (there have already been many evidences of that too in his few mentions of things involving politics). All new politicians sound good in the beginning, they can make any promise without anyone calling them out on not breaking them in the past. At least with the rest they all have their cards on the table and we've seen their history in politics. Bernie's record seems pretty clean.
