But Arabs (and people living in hot/desert climates) are historically used to animal herding, not animal husbandry, i.e. no animal farms. This is why I usually buy kosher hot dogs. But good cuts of beef and chicken are easy to find at a local butcher and not that expensive. I usually just buy a side of beef from my boss at the farm I work at because I actively grow its feed and care for the cattle, I don't slaughter the cows because I don't want to know which one I'm eating. 4 or 5 disappear per month and I turn a blind eye. I freeze it all and I'm good on meat for a year, sometimes two if I do well during hunting season.
