They were one of the most incredible publications I had ever witnessed ten years ago. I bought their books and magazines a lot because I had never seen such writing and photography. I was a huge fan. They were the continuation of Hunter Thompson'esque gonzo journalism. I don't think I could praise them more highly.
Then they were full on SJW faggotry to such a depressing extent that I boycott and try my best to ignore them.

I went to a art college in Chicago (Columbia). It was shit and I dropped out after a yea, but one of my acquaintances got a job there set up after graduation. Good for him, I guess, but he's insufferably boring for what that's worth.
I like some of their documentaries on occassion. Tbh they do try to film things that nobody else covers, and their doc on ISIS and North Korea were very well done. But a lot of their opinion videos and almost 100% of their articles are utter degenerate unintelligent trite aimed at idiot lefites who are browsing facebook during slow hour at Starbucks.

Their TV show on HBO is very good. A lot of very high quality, fascinating stories covered on that show, including some amazing stories on The Civil War, North Korea, cancer research, etc.
