It's basically a book on how to Jew, or to a greater extent, how to take over the world.
All of the Amazon comments are butthurt that the author takes a realist view on human nature.
He takes philosophy from Sun Tzu, Clausewitz, Machiavelli and distills them into 48 laws to obtain power or to guard yourself from those who want to.
Uses historical examples from all over the world and all periods of history.
It's a self help book in theory I guess. But the similarities end there.

The 33 Strategies of War is basically the same book. Except it takes more of a military angle, instead of just the concept of power. He tries to tie in military tactics, and how they can be applied to business, the workplace and dealing with people. Stories about Napoleon, Rommel and Patton.
Recommended if you liked Power.
