I've been over this before. The media is intentionally avoiding reporting on voter turnout because this whole "Trump can't beat Hillary" bullshit is *literally* the last thing they have against him. Trump is set to break the GOP primary voter record with 40% of the republican vote. And, despite what people would have you believe, Republicans will fucking vote Trump when he wins.
Hillary is utterly despised by the right, and generally disliked by the left. If voting trends hold out, she cannot numerically win. Just as a nifty experiment I went and did the math myself. Assuming the voter turnout trends hold, and Hillary's gets the best possible support she's polled so far (with something like 40% of Bernie supporters saying they'll support her or even "consider" supporting her if she wins.) she still loses to Trump with his worst possible support (taking only people who would "definitely" support him if he wins, which is about 25%. Jumps to near 60% of non-trump voters if you add in "consider" supporting him).
Basically, there's never been an election. Trump won months ago, and people just aren't willing to admit it yet.
