Florida here, south of Tampa. 60% white city.
Most keep across the river. Grandpa always said its cause they can't swim, which is true, but something about the girls were south and men were north.

It depends where you are in Alabama. Head towards the beaches and you won't see too many. Head to big ugly cities like mobile or Birmingham and it gets darker. When I lived in the south USA I just found the blacks to be really funny. Like you'd go to a gas station and there'd be a black girl working behind bullet proof glass and the money went into a little metal grove under the glass, and she'd have fucking 10 inch long spiral fingernails on each finger and have to individually fish each coin out of the groove one at a time. I'd fill up my silverado and pay all in quarters ect when there was nobody behind me, and she'd do that for every single coin.

I'm in Dare County, which is the northern barrier islands/Roanoke. There's plenty of /out/ shit to do if you like sand, water, and fishing. Duck hunting is top tier in the winter, but there's not a lot to do socially in the winter. Kind of a tourist area and it shuts down for the most part in the off season even though there's still a pretty large population.
I love it though. Be warned, cost of living is a bit higher. $1000/mo rent is about as low as you'll find for a 3bed house.

Just don't live in a predominantly black neighborhood. As long as you have a majority of non-blacks around, they tend to keep relatively calm cause they know they're outnumbered and they will get shot if they commit crimes.
