well we can start by saying if you don't have any facts (statistics, firsthand sources, authentic photo and video proof), then the argument is not an argument and dismissed. even if one has said proof, one's skill of the tongue can dismantle his own argument with his poor word choice. so having strong evidence and good word choice will help your argument. if someone tries to disprove your argument with facts of their own, you must have ample sources to back them up, otherwise your argument is low energy.

First off, as stated earlier, Stefan's correction was indeed an argument, as it was pointing out that the standard being applied, does not actually apply to the category in question (terrorists). That is an argument. And also a correct one at that.

My post was pointing out the irony in someone using the "not an argument meme" when they don't even understand how to differentiate an argument from an assertion. In short, it is an argument, and a concise and correct one too boot.
