If it gets to the point where the US military can not continue it's designed role and the United States is in dire threat, the draft will be enacted and all able-bodied people will be used as front liners, while the less able-bodied people (aka children and people with major physical disabilities like no legs) will be used for other roles.
If the draft has been enacted, women are quite similar to men in terms of ballistic resistance.
They'll be at the front, and the special forces and other high training and high importance roles will be doing the actual fighting.

This is the end of the US army, imagine an actual war that drafted women, I imagine there would be far more soldier's deaths due to them dragging around what amounts to a ball and chain, having to slow down so the woman can keep up, carrying extra weight for them, putting their lives on the line to keep them safer.
