The liberal media got mad at BB because he based many of his paintings off of portraits found on Google Inages, as opposed to having the subjects sit for him as he painted them. Seems pretty petty desu.

The criticism I'm addressing is that they had a problem with how he got his inspiration for his paintings. That just seems petty to me. Go right ahead and criticize the actual quality, sure, but what does it matter where he drew the source from? How does that relate to the quality of the paintings whatsoever?

Well you would realise if you were a painter, when you paint from a photograph, you are painting the photo, not the actual subject. The photo has it's colours, sense of depth, contrast etc defined by the camera taking the shot. It inherently limits what you can do with the subject. GDub's paintings look really flat, with inconsistent perspective. Drawing/painting from real life helps immensely with understanding depth and perspective. Of course an accomplished artist could do something amazing with a photo I'm sure, but you need to have an understanding of how the subject works to a naked human eye.
I still can't believe the kike media made a whole generation believe Bush (and Republicans in general) were bad and Democrats were the good goys.
