why is trump, a man who has only been in politics for less than a year steamrolling compared to someone like bernie who has been in politics for 20-30 years?
(pls do not misconstrue this as me being a butthurt bernout i am just a curious trump supporter)

i'm not someone who is very politically active so i don't understand
Why did Obama get elected despite only running to prove a point?

Bernie, the filthy shape-shifting jew, has been entrenched in politics for over 4 decades..he is the ipitome of everything that is wrong with American politics. .
The sheep are awakening
because trump is the figurehead of a political revolution, vs. dude free college lmao.
Because nobody likes politicians. Trump isn't a politician.
Scott Adams is a bit highbrow in his analysis, but the better part of it is essentially accurate.
Trump's doing an enormously good job of bringing a charisma and style of message that, while alienating some, resonates and brings in many people. His memorable phrases and mannerisms crossed with ample media coverage give him tons of exposure and appeal.
Meanwhile, Bernie is total fucking milquetoast. He's bland, and his only appeal is to people who want free shit and won't be hurt by more taxes. He's boring enough that the media downplays his role in the election as much as possible, and he lacks the moxie to get himself out there in meaningful ways.

Bernie was destinied to fail when he aligned himself with the regressive SJW collage campus cult who wants free shit legal weed and protection for their fragile fee fees.
>>72351644
Because he's a socialist. You've seen the damage caused by a welfare state and so did everyone else.
>>72351644
Because trump embodies everyone hatred of the current political establishment he says the things some of us are to afraid to and is more focused on getting shit done instead of looking for who's cock to suck to get reelected. He is in my opinion what this country needs now more than anything a succesful business man who can get shit done instead of a weak frail politician who only cares about getting reelected.
>>72351644
If you've been in politics for 30 years and this is the best you've done I've got some bad news
He's a businessman and not a politician and that's why people like him.
>>72351644
Stockholm Syndrome
because Trump is a popular man of the people who won't let is competitors shit on him while Bernie is an economically illiterate pussy who speaks like the most anti-semitic Jewish caricature ever devised
>>72351644
Because unlike the other candidates, who sound like robots, with their cookie cutter responses, and who pander to their party, Trump speaks his mind, and does what the people want. He isn't in anyone's pocket. So he doesn't have to change his agenda to fit theirs
>>72351644
Bernie is a weak, lying kike. Trump is a strong-willed white man who will actually get shit done.
>>72351644
1) he hasn't been part of politics for 20-30 years, and so has a fresh slate. can't bring up "x vote 5 years ago" if he never voted on policy
2) he brings everything he knows about entertainment from his reality show to his campaign - easy language, drama, consistent "releases," everything.
That's literally it.

>omeone like bernie who has been in politics for 20-30 years?
30 years of doing nothing and reinforcing bad habits.

He won because his handlers set him up with a guaranteed

>Meanwhile, Bernie is total fucking milquetoast. He's bland, and his only appeal is to people who want free shit and won't be hurt by more taxes.
He's also the most authoritarian candidate, constantly handing out edicts from on high demands that we always this and never that. Him and his ilk see opposing opinions as something to be utterly destroyed, along with the people who hold them eventually.
Shit like that wont get you votes.
