So /pol/, how big of an impact did the US have in WWII? Did they save the war?or did they hardly do anything and joined at the end and came out with the glory when it was the USSR who actually helped more to win it.
Britain might have won
But all their cities would have been obliterated

They didn't really do anything.
Our main beef was with Japan, not necessarily Germany. USSR did far more to win the war only because the Germans were attacking them.
>>72295197
USSR won it.
The US merely joined right at the end and now claim all of the glory.
in my opinion, The US didn't deserve a slice of Germany after the war.
>>72295379
You mean besides obliterate two of your cities?
>>72295197
USSR could've been defeated without U.S supplies and transportation
If USA's neutrality wouldn't have made a difference, then USA would have been allowed to keep its neutrality.
OP here, I ask this after listening to Trump's speech and how he said the US saved WWII. It got me thinking how much did the US save. I know Russia had a huge part of them winning, but I also know the US supplied the means. Guns, ammo, tanks, artillery, etc

Claim all the glory? Nigger we didn't even get to take Berlin, that was the trophy to be had in the European theater.
>>72295526
Possibly. They would've had A LOT more deaths though.
>>72295197
We sent shit over to the Commies and they Holocausted a whole generation of slavs in order to beat the Third Reich
US barely did any fighting in europe worth mentioning and only came over to get more land from the Jew.S.S.R
>>72295645
soon
>>72295353
Britain didn't have a Chinaman's chance.
Nazi Navy was on track for 1948. No help from USA, Britain would have been destroyed once Germany had their navy.

a guy in the bank vault survived
>United States evil because of what it did in the war
>United States did nothing in the war
Why don't these two conflicting sides bicker with each other, instead of ruining every war thread which shows a glimmer of potential?
>>72295813
debatable but I doubt Britain could of delivered a death blow in that war
The USA was helpful but I wouldn't say they outright won the war, Hitler could not mount a lad invasion on the UK since he was getting btfo'd in the air, and he wasted so many troops in Russia and got blown the fuck out in Africa, They would have lost eventually but it would have taken many more years.
>Lend-Lease
>won the Pacific single-handedly
>liberated North Africa, Italy, France/Western Europe
>emerged as the world superpower
Without the U.S., it's possible that Germany could have defeated the Soviets. Even without going that far, it's quite obvious that American intervention saved Western Europe from Bolshevism.
>>72295865
They did little but sadly that was too much :(
>>72295784
>usa didn't contribute enough to europe
Europe is none of our problem, plus we had our own empire to fight. If you want to hold a fake grudge against someone then blame Hitler the eternal Austrian for declaring war on USA. Never go to war with three different empires who are all looking for a place to dispose of their excess young males.
>>72295784
M8, if not for the Yanks in the Pacific we would be eating whale steaks right now
>>72296167
>Australian warships floating without ammo because unions wouldn't load it and wouldn't allow anyone else to take the job
>>72296128
If only FDR hadn't been such a jew and forced Hitler to declare war
If only Hitler had disavowed Japan
God damn it...
>>72295957
>hitler-access to European resources and v-2 rockets
>GB access to shit resources
You guys were so fucked without us showing up to win 1 front and completely change 2 others
