1. Tertiary safeties. The normal safety can't go up, the grip safety is too flush/solid, and there is that third lever on the slide I would never see on one
2. Misshapen magazine release and mag release area, as well as other frame dimensions VERY slightly off
3. Nonfunctional solid target sights
4. Trigger is wrong, 1911s have straight pull triggers
5 (Optional) The slide is a nonstandard length. Would be highly unlikely for some hood kid to have one like that, not unheard of.
Again, I stress. If someone pointed it at me, I would not be able to see any of that. I would not take time to look at the fucking barrel and see an airsoft sized hole, which could still be a .22 anyhow. This is why they sell them with the orange tips and only idiots swing them around outside after taking them off. That is the literal reason why they have garish ridiculous neon tips on them.
The one from this is literally the same case. Slightly odd dimensions and wrong markings, but the only things that really stand out is that the slide is wrong for a Beretta (One piece over barrel) and the safety is clearly fake. So police in this and similar cases are acting in accordance with the law if a minor is threatening others with a bb gun.
