They just use this as a bullshit excuse to justify breaking the law and immigrating illegally, as if we owe them something. Plenty of Mexicans have European ancestry, so following that same logic, one could say the Mexicans "stole" their land from whatever assorted indigenous lived there before the age of exploration. There is a lot of irredentism in Mexico surrounding this, but it's obvious that their inferior culture, economy, and government couldn't have developed the American Southwest into one-tenth of what it is today.
