Christians worship me and send shekels to Israel.

Be a good Goy and become a Christian.

you dont actually ----need---- to be christian or muslim or jewish to believe in God. These divisions are man made and the relationship with your creator should be a personal one. You dont need them.
>>
>>72142573
But wouldn't joining one of these divisions provide resources for my personal relationship with God to use in order to become more complete. So like it's not necessary, but isn't it beneficial?

Christianity will bring you closer to god than any other religion.

I will give you a few reasons, starting with reasons as a man:

Read this:

http://history.hanover.edu/courses/excerpts/344bern2.html

And this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin_Rule

>Once he finds himself in the thick of battle, this knight sets aside his previous gentleness, as if to say, "Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord; am I not disgusted with your enemies?" These men at once fall violently upon the foe, regarding them as so many sheep. No matter how outnumbered they are, they never regard these as fierce barbarians or as awe-inspiring hordes. Nor do they presume on their own strength, but trust in the Lord of armies to grant them the victory. They are mindful of the words of Maccabees, "It is simple enough for a multitude to be vanquished by a handful. It makes no difference to the God of heaven whether he grants deliverance by the hands of few or many; for victory in war is not dependent on a big army, and bravery is the gift of heaven." On numerous occasions they had seen one man pursue a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight.

>Thus in a wondrous and unique manner they appear gentler than lambs, yet fiercer than lions. I do not know if it would be more appropriate to refer to them as monks or as soldiers, unless perhaps it would be better to recognize them as being both. Indeed they lack neither monastic meekness nor military might. What can we say of this, except that this has been done by the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes. These are the picked troops of God, whom he has recruited from the ends of the earth; the valiant men of Israel chosen to guard well and faithfully that tomb which is the bed of the true Solomon, each man sword in hand, and superbly trained to war.

Here are a few ways to help you realize that Christians fully support science and in fact are often at the forefront of many aspects of science that people associate with non-Christians or even try to use as proof against Christianity (evolution, paleontology, the Big Bang theory, etc.):

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Roman_Catholic_cleric-scientists

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Jesuit_scientists

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Christians_in_science_and_technology

Of course the clerics are the best for this as you can't say they are only 'Christians by culture/name/whatever'. Jesuits are a religious order so they would also be good, and many are clerics as well. The last list is less useful since it has many laymen which an opponent could say were only Christian out of circumstance.

Also going through this list and googling names + "Christian" or "religion" will be eye opening:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_scientific_discoveries

Also, it is important to start at modern times and work backwards as people will of course say that at one point in time everyone was Christian by default as it was the norm and things like that.

Also this is a good video of Richard Dawkins interviewing a Vatican Astrophysisct :

You need if you are looking for profit for obeying his rules. Just saying god exists doesn't do much to you.

Since you are neutral and I really am not asking a loaded question here, just wondering for my own sake and for future discussions:

Was any of those links/any of that information compelling as a reason to raise your interest in Christianity?

this, or you could actually stop being a pussy and realise you are the only being worthy of worship
