If Donald Trump chooses Bernie Sanders as his running mate and Bernie Sanders accepts, they would be guaranteed victory. Trump is getting the nomination regardless, and republicans will vote for him over Shillary regardless of who his running mate is. And a lot of democrats will vote for him if his running mate is Bernie Sanders because they want free stuff and a socialist society, and a lot of them hate Shillary.
What do we have to do to make this happen, /pol/? The solution is quite simple, I think: MEME MAGIC
Meme magic will get the attention of the public, garner public support, and also get the attention of Donald Trump and his campaign team, and it will shake things up even more, which is obviously good for the unstumpable, since he flourishes in such an environment.

In a weird way, I think if he pulled something like this, which I'm 99% sure he wouldn't for obvious reasons, it would work. The sheer amount of media attention he would get from this sort of move would be worth billions in free advertising. Also, if anyone can get millennials to vote Trump en masse, it's Sanders. Again, there's something like a 1% chance this actually happens, and if it does, I believe it would be in the case Trump is robbed of the nomination and Bernie isn't able to pull a miracle. It would be the ultimate 3rd party 'protest' ticket.

What genius thought up the idea of pushing a Trump / Bernie meme this week? I'd really like to know who sent out the memo, because there are multiple threads about this.
There is a zero percent chance that happens. My guess is it's the Cruzbots pushing the meme, after Trump suggested Sanders should run as an independent in a tweet. They probably think it might dissuade some people from voting for Trump.
