The great modern philosopher John Green explains why republicans cant economy.

Do you agree with Johnny "Out Guy" Greenthumb?

Every time I see a new picture of him he looks slightly more disheveled and a little closer to finally snapping from all the cognitive dissonance.

That's cool and all, but how do you comment on the republican candidates trying to bankrupt the state?
At least the democrats will raise taxes, something you NEED if you want to keep your socialist welfare state.
>60% of the budget dedicated to giving unemployed and retired people benefits
Holy fuck.
>>72123394
>only mentions the sick and elderly, not the millions of immigrants
>doesn't mention a word on the stupidly bloated obamacare
Discarded
Pick
Why can't he have balanced audio?
>>72124186
>raising taxes when unemployment is high to pay for the unemployed
Because that will increase federal income
>>72124186
I don't want to keep the socialist welfare state.
>>72124186
>At least the democrats will raise taxes, something you NEED if you want to keep your socialist welfare state.
I don't want that
>>72124409
Hey, not my idea, if I was in charge I'd remove the welfare state altogether.
I think that poor people should stop being poor, rather than getting free food. If they dont like it, they can move to Canada and be fed there.
However Americans seem to love their socialism, so all candidates propose to keep it. The only candidate in the last two elections who ever spoke against it was Ron Paul, and he didnt get any votes because of that.
USA wants socialism and a welfare state, so lets discuss how it should be done.
>One is a billionaire real estate and land development tycoon
>The other is a US Senator of almost 40 years who is in debt
>The billionaire is the one who is bad with money
>>72124409
Or not.
Raising taxes in such a way or to such an extent a to damage the economy, or dis-incentivize work, would not lead to increased federal income.
Whether a particular tax increase would increase income would need to be given some thought -- it is not automatic.

>60% of the budget dedicated to giving unemployed and retired people benefits
>Holy fuck.
It's the same way in every country with high living standards and low birthrates.
The 2017 elections will probably be all about pensioners.
>>72123394
I don't understand why tax plans are seriously discussed. Its not like the president have any real authority to push their plan thru anyway, so in reality its just a political tool. Promise to reduce taxes and increase benefits, its how you win election these days republicans and democrats do this.
>>72124941
Its basically a "I will promote X, and I will veto Y" promise list.
>>72123394
who?
>>72124647
>real estate and land development tycoon
>Trump cant build a wall, are you crazy?
His head looks like a fucking peanut, whade fugg. And he's always straining his face muscles so much that blood almost comes out of his eyes
>>72123394
>tfw this would be today's greatest philosopher if it weren't for Stefan Molyneux
Thank god. The next 2000 years could have been very dark indeed.
>>72124707
Every election in the US is about pensions and elderly benefits.
>>72124705
It was sarcasm
>>72125155
It's a shame that nobody can compete with Emperor Molyneux.

I don't get why people suddenly started taking him seriously.
His old stuff was better, too. Basically the moment he became shit is the moment he became popular.
>>72123394
Guy who has a bachelor's degree in economics and made millions into billions can't into economy?

The top comment is literally "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?"

Jobs will always be the best social policy. With Trump we get jobs and lower taxes. With kike panders we get extortionally high taxes and no jobs. With Hitlary we stay on the same path of collective suicide.
>>72123394
He looks crazy
>>72124647
>Trump has been bankrupted 4 times
>>72127698
He's declared bankrupties on 4 (unimportant) ventures*
He has never been bankrupted.

I love when people actually bring that up as if its a valid complaint

4 out of 520+ Spectacular success rates.
If the federal government ran those same businesses, it would be inverse. 520+ failures and 4 success stories.

The deficit needs to be tackled proportionally, so that means being stricter on welfare, cutting the pork from defense and getting rid of regulatory offices who's sole purpose is to make everyone's life more difficult.
Also fuck corporate and agricultural subsidies
