what are frogbros prospects for Le Pen becoming Empress of France in next election?
>>72114221
Dark blue is Front Nationale, the "far-right" party which is actually socialist as fuck but is also vehemently anti-immigration and therefore rayciss
>>72113974
That's correct. FN won the first round in like 6-7 regions with a plurality, but on the 2nd round the left and right teamed up.
>>72114221
Dark red: commies
Red: socialist party
Blue: cuckservatives
Dark Blue: FN
Regional elections 2010/2015

Pink is socialists
Light blue is cuckservatives
Dark blue is nationalists

do You think ukip can get seats next time?

how does UKIP get more than 30% as many votes as labor and twice as many as SNP and get no MPs?

representatives are by district not by total votes.

2 turns election system = none as long as more than 50% of French people are not with her.
She's at something like one quarter to one third for the moment and they haven't started mass electoral propaganda yet, so...
>>72114640
THEY ARE GETTING STRONGER
>>72114684
How to spot a fundamentally broken electoral system.
>>72114606
Do you understand how FPTP works?
Imagine if the democrats got 51% in every house district and the republicans 49%. Dems would have every seat.
UKIP support is spread out over the whole country, Labour/Tory/SNP support is concentrated in stronghold areas so they win in individual districts and get MPs. UKIP got a shitload of 2nd places and 3rd places.
>>72114502
If we Brexit the party will probably end with handshakes all round, which is probably for the best really. The core party members will probably form a new right-libertarian party advocating for direct democracy, low taxes, more military spending, and suchlike. They might get a few seats depending on how the geopolitical situation goes in the next few years.
>>72114686
shit. when's the election?
>>72114684
ohh so this is why CGP Grey are so salty with their election system
And yet Germanistan of all palces still favourable towards CDU and the Cuckmeister Merkel.

I don't think it's fundamentally broken, just geared toward a two-party system. Works breddy good in the US. but I think our political parties are a bit more flexible, than bongs.
>>72114806
In almost exactly one year for the first turn.
>>72114640
Everyone is on the verge of voting a right wing party and we elected a radical left party.
Good job greece.
>>72114790
>direct democracy, low taxes, more military spending
god-tier
>>72114855
Too busy dealing with his waifus
>>72114945
Two-party systems are fundamentally broken systems because they invariably cause disenfranchisement of a very large fraction of the populous.
>>72114951
There's still plenty of time then. Just wait for coalition to crumble or more mudslime attacks. q
>>72114945
>don't think it's fundamentally broken, just geared toward a two-party system.
Thats a fundamentally broken system. Theres no ability for centrists to vote.
>>72115068
>>72114739
One thing is does help is unlike PVV or SD who could face a coalition against them if they get 35-40% of the vote, if UKIP ever got 35-40% it would probably hand them a majority.
>>72115191
Unfortunately the only way to really have proportionality would be to decouple the notion of having each congressman/MP/whatever representing a distinct geographical area, which I don't think is a good idea.
Something like having 2/3 of the seats be regular FPTP constituencies and 1/3 being party-list proportional representation "at-large" seats would be a decent compromise maybe
>>72113784
Geert's a Zionist though.
>>72115161
The regional elections happened not long after the terrorist attack in Paris. I wasn't expecting a landslide but still, zero fucking regions.
Still voting but with no hope. You can't wake up people that are pretending to be asleep.
>>72114502
>>72114790
Regardless of if we vote to stay or leave the Tories will be in massive trouble so the chances for Ukip to do well are great depending on how the next few years go .I predict that 20% of Tory vote could go to UKIP soon because of Camerons fuckup
>>72114886
Beautiful
>>72115437
>Unfortunately the only way to really have proportionality would be to decouple the notion of having each congressman/MP/whatever representing a distinct geographical area, which I don't think is a good idea.

I agree .I love having an MP and loseing that system would be a massive shame
>>72115191
Happens plenty of times. just look at all the senate and house bills with bipartisan support. There's no such thing as a pure centrist, but the ones who lean left or right are able to use the existing party apparatus to get on ballot/etc. You can also have people like FDR, LBJ, Reagan, and Trump who significantly change their party and it's aims. could be worse fampai.
>>72114806
Next summer
My redpilled little sister wont be able to vote as she'll only turn 18 in autumn 2017
>>72115509
>I predict that 20% of Tory vote could go to UKIP soon because of Camerons fuckup
We might see an SNP-style surge of Out voters switching to UKIP after a Remain vote in the referendum, but I don't want to take the chance. Sacrificing UKIP the party is a price I'd pay to secure an Out vote
>>72115705
>>72115446
come on frogbros you CANT give up hope. Be strong. Be strong for France.
>>72115437
>Something like having 2/3 of the seats be regular FPTP constituencies and 1/3 being party-list proportional representation "at-large" seats
Scotland and Wales do this already for their parliament and assembly. It seems to work well.
>>72115416
True, but from a purely democratic standpoint, is that actually something you want? Again, it causes disenfranchisement, and that's as anti-democratic as you can be without actively removing people's right to vote or going single-party.
>>72115762
>Sacrificing UKIP the party is a price I'd pay to secure an Out vote
Ohh god yes i agree .Don't think UKIP will vanish anyway regardless of the vote though .We need a proper righwing party in the EU or out of it
>>72115416
>if UKIP ever got 35-40% it would probably hand them a majority
Thats the only Good thing about FPTP .Once you get a good % of the vote you are in easy
>>72115938
Oh yeah, it's still shitty and I wish we'd changed to AV at least (kept constituencies but introduced a ranked ballot and multiple counts) but the shilling during the referendum for it by the two big parties was intense.
>>72115446
>zero fucking regions.
30% of the popular vote and no regions
UKIP with similar and no MP
reeks of disenfranchisement, how confident are you euros that voting fraud isn't rampant
>>72114640
Who's the French one? I thought Marine Le Pen was the /pol/-approved leader for France.
>>72116069
That's Marion Marechal Le Pen, her niece.
>>72116050
STV. Single Transferable Vote. It is glorious.
>>72116056
It's a problem inherent with a district-based FPTP system. Hell, they could get 49.9% of the vote and not win any districts, theoretically.
>>72116056
>how confident are you euros that voting fraud isn't rampant
At least we actually need ID to vote friendo ;)
But for real, it is just a case of a cucked populace being slow to wake

If it wasnt for the fear of the reds....

AV is STV with single member districts.
It was voted down due to shilling like this

Tribal voting is a big part of it though .Vote for these guys to keep these guys out even though i hate both mentality .

>>72115705
Do you need an id to vote? Otherwise I'll just dress up as a nigger, cross the border and vote.
>>72116462
>>72116504
Putting aside the actual shittiness of AV for a moment, £250 million is peanuts in the government budget. Those posters were such bullshit

funny how they spent millions on the "UK should remain" leaflets posted to EVERY household just last month
"that could have been spent on muh maternity units" would have fallen on deaf ears of the left then.
women having the vote was surely a mistake.
we are so fucked
