One of the major problems is the huge numbers of women in education staff.
A teacher should be a skilled or experienced person, and some decades ago many would have been ex military. The female teaching stampede is women pretending they want to go to work like men and going straight into the younger years schools to be near kids.
When I was seven the vast majority of teachers, teaching assistants and lunch staff were female.
My main class teacher would do absolutely zero is terms of disciplining extremely badly behaved kids. She didn't care if it disrupted the whole class or changed the class morale over time.
On the other hand there was a woman who was strict in a pointless and petty way that had nothing to do with learning or making better kids, it was all about the sad little woman ego. This is often the case.
The lunch staff patrolled the playgrounds during breaks. They wouldn't discipline the girls and were biased towards them when problems arose. The lunch staff were approaching elderly but acted as if the little girls were their friends, spinning the skipping for them and things like that.
These women were the least qualified, least proven, least intelligent people on site, but were the main role model to the girls. They were totally unfit to be in charge of other peoples kids.
Now I'm at a university, the incompetence of the female staff is hyperdrive level. They go into education to have an easy path as they possibly can.

So sociologists will continue to go on and on about how men are failures and can't measure up to women when the truth is that many of us simply have no good reason to engage in relationships with women.
