4th gen Dago checking in, I've always counted as white to normal people, but never to pol.
I come here because liberals aren't funny. I tend to be socially libertarian and fiscally Keynesian, but I've learned a lot from the users here. They taught me how to take an interest in my heritage, love western culture and philosophy in a deeper way, and see America more than just the dirt I just so happen to live on. I never really loved my country until I came here, so I'll always thank you for that.

I come here for balance
Most of my friends are liberal, some VERY liberal and the fact that they ignore logic in favor of emotion and "it's 2016!" Frustrates me to no end.
So I come here, one of the most right-wing places on the net. And while there's some illogical shit being said here, it restores balance in my life to see both extremes of either side.
If i didn't have /pol/ i would go crazy and lose or kill my friends.
