This!
Mt. Vesuvius is the #1 dangerous volcano.
Why is every Italian on 4chan an angry little manlet?

And nothing of value was lost
>>72008066
I went there a few years ago
It's shit, stray dogs everywhere. I say let it burn. The top of Vesuvius is nice though, shame about the whole "Could kill all Italians and start a new ice age" thing it has going for it
>>72008201
first of all, we are passively angry
second thing we're not manlets
I stand 5'9 and I tower above most

Yellowstone would be impactingnthe whole planet. Vesuvius would be a firecracker in comparasition.
>>72008191
No, it's just a toy compared to Yellowstone.
>>72007989
feels good m8
just think, all those mid western cities getting covered in volcanic ash, then forgotten for thousands of years until they're completely buried, and then people will dig them up again by accident someday.
>>72008352
It is really cringeworthy to see how many people fall for the crap that runs on Hysteria Channel.
>>72007989
If you want to worry about volcanoes in the US, Mt. Rainier is a much better candidate.
The most likely kind of eruption in Yellowstone is a small lava flow or maybe a hydrothermal eruption.

> Implying Mexico won't starve along with a quarter of the world without our food.
> Implying Mexico's economy that is piggybacked on ours won't crash and burn.
> Implying it won't be better to live in the ash clouds of the north than the cartel controlled mad max Mexico will turn into.

Option C looks fine to me. The lines at Disney World will be so short I won't need to buy one of those nasty little wristbands.

You are a gullible idiot.
What else are you scared about? Asteroid impacts? Alien invasions?
And don't Don't pay attention to the actual invasion going on right now! It is just gas escaping!

>5'9''
>>72008630
that's some QUALITY
>>72008583
Retard. The size of the volcano is pretty fucking irrelevant when the probability of erupting is about zero.
>>72008835
Actually large enough asteroids to hurt us severely are detectable and deflectable these days. A supervolcano that's overdue to supererupt...that's fucking scary.
>>72009058
>overdue
>>72008835
Subject is volcanoes, so keep to it.
Yellowstone is ripening and nobody knows how it will blow since there are no records on how a supervolcano erupts except for the geological evidence.
>>72007989
I'm in Florida so I'll be aight

We're still detecting loads of objects in the solar system all the time. Also we have a huge blindspot between the Earth and Sun since we mainly detect objects at night.

This is an unnecessary qualifier

And retrograde objects are the most dangerous since they come in faster on a collision course.
>>72009209
Okay, Anon. I'll try to keep it civil.
First, read this: http://volcanoes.usgs.gov/volcanoes/yellowstone/faqs_misconceptions.html
Secondly, just because there is magma in the ground does not mean a massive eruption has to occur.
Most of the time magma, especially granitic magma, stays in the ground - this is how granite is formed.
If and that is a big if, a major happens the rule of thumb is:
Massive eruptions (such as idiots at Hysteria Channel love so much) will give very clear warning signs centuries before anything actually happens.
>being this scared
Everyone in this suffering world will die. No matters how and when. Its a fact.
>>72009209
kinda like climate change.
>only Seattle, Portland, San Fransisco, and Miami survive
What do the liberals know that I don't?

The vast majority of the US population is on both coasts, most everyone will be fine, some fatty fats might even lose some weight.
