Properly distributed, low fat, you get something like this.

The rings might be impressive for a normie, but it isn´t a strength excercise where you can use big numbers (i.e. weight). Take a non fat strength athelete and give him 1-2 month training and he will be able to do this excercise with ease (of course not with the same beauty the OLYMPIC LEVEL ATHLETE you have posted). And the strength athlete will be at a further disadvantage due to having heavier legs increasing the weight (even 10kg more bodyweight will have a major impact on the "rings" excercise).

Not take the gymnast and let him use strength exercises like squat, bench deadlits etc and he won´t perform really good after just 2 month of training. He might get the form right but his lifts will still be weak (just like the strength athlete won´t perform the gymnastics exercises with "beauty" because he lacks the form).

This might be your personal opinion, but this wasn´t what the argument was about. The argument was about "strength athlete" vs "Gymnast", not about "when do you need to lift something heavier than yourself and I´d rather this and that".

Fact of the matter is: Let a gymnast do weight lifting exercises then his performance is laughable compared to a real strength athlete while a strength athlete performing gymnastic exercises he will also perform laughable compared to a gymnast.

When you go into the professional level where everybody uses steroids, then the gap will be even more extreme. The strength athelete will be able to lift 3-5 times the amout the gymnast can (depending on weight, height etc).

You are exceptional in the things you train for and somebody who is doing something else just can´t compete. If they are close to equal than one of the participants just is not on the same level in his sport compared to the other in his own sport.

Right now I´m sitting at 100kg/225lbs at 1,81cm/5´11. But I´m just coming out of the winter bulk and I´m rather fat, cutting starts now, probably going down to 90kg/198lbs and will be in the range of 10-12% bodyfat (no roids.... yet). It is possible, but takes a lot of time, more than people want to invest. And the E-stats regarding "Hurr I had that lift after 8 month" is totally blown out of proportions. You can assume to look good after 3 years, fucking impressive after 5 years.

Huge is relative... Shoulders have more receptors for testosteron to attach itself too thats why it works wonders there. For Traps: Heavy deadlifts and squats together with high reps shrugs (15-25) (barbell or dumbell). Shoulders, heavy over head press and killing them with high rep isolations if you want (again 15-25).

But there are several ways to achieve that. You could also do olympic weight lifting, will give you the same result. As long as you use progressive overload, vary the total volume and kill the muscle 2 times a week. There is no magic way.

Do a push pull split. Add some accessory exercises. I do pullups and chins as well. I am not as beautiful as that man but I am getting there. Just make sure you keep track of your progress. One more rep is progress and so is 2.5 pounds. Those small gains add up over months and months of training.

No haven´t read that. I don´t bother anymore to read lots of stuff. I´ll be focusing soon on my "goal lifts" that I want to achieve in my life, being 200kg deadlifts, 180kg squat and 140kg bench. Currently sitting at 185, 160 and 130 (after 5.5 years of lifting).

This can be achieved way faster though, I didn´t go "full powerlifting" from the beginning and I lift at home having to learn everything for myself.

Regarding cutting: I too do intermittend fasting for 4 years already, but I´m not hungry in the morning anyway. I will be jogging after every training for 8km rather slowly because otherwise I barely loose weight. My metabolism is very slow. Sitting at 100kg and my maintenance is 3000kcal, cutting at 2500 and probably going to 2000 close to the end of the cut. For me, cutting without cardio doesn´t work.

At the end it´s just calories in vs calories out, how you achieve that doesn´t really matter.

Yes I can imagine. I will use some cleans in the future to supplment my training, need some new exercises after a few years of training and I also wanted to put up some bigger numbers to get over my head.

So far my record was strict overhead press 137 x7, push press 180lbs x2, but i´ve never seen the exercise as one to measure progress. Will change that soon when adding cleans. Want to get 100kg/225lbs over my head once as a goal. Should be well within the possible range.

DESU I do not think I have a powerlifting routine. Being as I have very little time to lift as well. So I only do 2-3 different lifts a day 3x a week. So like squat and then pull ups, if there is time maybe something else. But what really was a game changer for me was when I switched to a reverse pyramid routine. So 4x whatever I can do. Then take off 10% 6x then take off 10% and then 8x. Just doing that I can get my workout done in 30-50 minutes. But yea your cns will not be so fucked when you are done, when I was doing a 5x4 routine it was hard as fuck. the Reverse pyramid is much easier but with faster results.
