3. According to the FBIanon, they found Special Access Plans. That is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD. Ie., "What we would ACTUALLY do if China went Apeshit over Taiwan"-tier. As in "our plans for WW3". It's basically the playbook of the US government and usually only accessible under ridiculous scrutiny. Supposedly she sold them, or at the least carelessly handled them.
Regardless of that, what is known is the following:
a- she fucked up by having a private email server
b- she lied when she said there were no sensitive documents on said server (FBI found 3
c- She deleted thousands of emails
d- her IT guys didn't have clearance while working on and managing her server
e- her lawyers, who read the emails, apparently didn't have clearances either according to the FBI director.
Some documents were sensitive enough that during the hearing today (by congress) they couldn't even reveal which AGENCY the documents were relevant to.
Basically her defense is "I didn't KNOW it was confidential", and the FBI director said "well since she didn't know better she gets a pass". This is at odds with a LOT of precedent where less experienced people have been jailed for far, far less.
