Hoover was based as fuck, he didn't increase government oversight and intervention on the economy to let it figure itself out, he also led huge civil engineering projects across the nation. If left alone the economy would have rebound naturally but instead fdr came in and created an even worse situation by expanding the welfare state and increasing government intervention in the economy. The only thing that got us out was World War 2 not his gay ass projects and social programs. He got lucky. If hoover had stayed in then the economy would have rebounded fine in the 30s naturally, before world war 2

I guess it's because they were involved with war and he liked that, like Truman was based because he didn't regreat the Japan bombings at all but other than that he wasn't based , but honestly FDR pisses me off, he extended the great depression by seven years.
