A few thoughts.
When blaming migrants, Polish are the only politically correct group to criticize because they are white.
Other migrant groups such as Pakistani Muslims dislike Poles because they take no shit and are competing for the same pie.
Poles do introduce more competition to workers such as plumbers and tradesman.
Poles do commit high rates of crime, but they not as bad as other migrant groups.
I am quarter Pol myself (grandparent came over to UK circa 1900 due to Russian conscription). During most of the 20thc the amount of Poles in the UK was pretty small, but the number went up a lot due to the EU.
