>be american
>don't need no insurance so you can save $100 per month

Scenario 1:
>get cancer
>take $300'000 credit to cure it
>can't pay it back, kys

Scenario 2:
>get hit by a car
>need to pay 150'000 for spine operation
>take $150'000 credit to cure it
>it won't cure
>be disabled
>have to earn $150'000 within 3 years
>can't earn, kys

Scenario 3:
>be perfectly healthy
>save $1200 per year
>save $12'000 in 10 years
>a little hospital stay can eat up half of that in days

I am republican with most of my views but your stance on health insurances never fails to amuse me.

I agree with you senpai, the state of American healthcare is pretty shitty. I would argue that a lot of that has to do with the regulatory environment of the past few decades propping up insurance companies and making it so hospitals can charge way more than they should because their patients aren't their customers (their insurance companies are).

Of course, single payer is shitty too from a quality of care standpoint, but the majority of people would be better off if we had such a thing in the US. If I had a rare disease or something that required a complex surgery I would pay extra to go private.

I think the biggest issue, and one that obamacare was supposed to "fix," is that your ability to even PURCHASE health insurance at market price depends on your employer. I can't leave my job to start a business or go to school for a better job because an individual plan costs 500% more in my area than the one I can buy through my employer. Horseshit. That's not even "free market."

I think we either need to get a public health insurance option, or just outlaw insurance and make everything out of pocket like veterinary procedures. Makes no sense that I can afford an MRI for my dog but not myself.

Interesting paragraphs bro. I think a perfect solution would be not to classify the prices by the employer but rather your lifestyle instead.

I am a straight fucking white male, and I don't wanna pay for gay niggas catching HIV. On the other hand, I really don't like the idea of being better off dying than selling my soul to a bank for some credit.. really tough

>Have insurance that costs ~$500 per month for 3 people

health care is great in this country if you have the right insurance

>Use to go to the doctors office (primary physician) all the time for coughs and colds I would get
>Normally paid nothing or a simple 20$ copay

>Enter Obama care

>Had a slight hand injury and figured out it was tendonitis.
>Simply have to not use that finger for 4-6 weeks and ice it every so often
>Wanted to be on the safe side because I was in pain
>Go to doctors office
>Looks at finger for 4 seconds and sends me to get an X-ray
>X-ray place is a totally different business and have to fill out paper work and pay 35$ copay
>Don't have the money so they tell me they will send it in the mail at extra fees (extra 10$)
>Get X ray done and go back to original doctor
>Looks at it again for 4 seconds and tells me no bone damage (Could have told him that)
>Tries to refer me to another specialist way out on the island in a richer neighborhood

>Fuck that WebmD was 100% right this is nothing serious
>Sit home for 6 weeks and finger is tip top shape and I just have to make sure I don't grip anything really hard very often

>Total bill for all of that 200$
I am a underemployed student that can only get shitty seasonal jobs that last 2-3 months. So no benefits, paid sick leave, insurance or anything.

Why the fuck would I ever want to go to another doctor ever again?
>>
>be american
>get vaccinated
>>
>>78071972
yeah he's rusing you. Without insurance $1225 won't buy you a 45-minute visit for an MRI.

> health care for $100 a month

HAHAHHAHAHAAHHAAHAHA

>healthy male, 32, no "risk" factors.

300 a month, with a 4000 dollar deductable
>>

I live in the north, in the outskirts of Milan, I can tell you that state healthcare is the best thing ever happened to this country.
Yes, there are some flaws, but anyone can afford a surgery here and everything is really cost efficient.

>fall for insurance meme
>for 4 years at job paying it off to feel safe
>need stitches because of dumb batman swinging thing I did
>its coo I got insurance famalam
>claim denied
>pre-existing condition??
>something about acne medication I didn't tell them about before I signed up
>out of pocket was $300 for something simple but I'm too westernized to learn how to stitch myself
>>
>>78072857
Actually, there's a company being advertised here that does MRIs for $600 flat no insurance, so you could actually get 2 for that price.
>>
>be me
>mom works for big pharma
>never pay anything despite having multiple tens of thousands of dollars in surgeries
Feels good. too bad I only got a few more years with it :/
>>
How the hell is an Americunt supposed to avoid getting fucked over by the Insurance jew then?
