There is something about this country, government and the people of it that leads me to believe we won't experience the utter insanity that is happening to the rest of the western world. How would our government respond to an event like the Orlando shooting? Or Paris?
Is our government capable of swallowing the red pill, observing what is happening to the rest of the world, and isolating ourselves entirely from the rest of the world?

As someone who was in Sydney at the time, the culture (of the Muslims) is completely different.
What was going on in Sydney was Muslim (and to be fair, Middle Easterners that were secular or even Christian) activity similar to what happens on the reg in Eurabia.
