>Be middle class, work comfortable job, have multicultural office worker colleagues
>Hooray for the EU! #bettertogether
>Preach about diversity and how great immigration is, and scoff at the ignorance of the masses

>Meanwhile Steve is a factory worker earning £12/hr
>Likes his job, has mates he goes to the pub with every Friday, has a wife and kid in a reasonably nice house
>One day, an immigrant from a poorer country turns up. He did the same job as Steve back in his home country
>He offers to work for £6/hr
>Manager is stunned, accepts
>A couple more come and Steve and a few of his colleagues find themselves unemployed
>The business skyrockets as costs fall through the floor
>The managers are thrilled as their numbers soar
>Next annual report shows how brilliantly the company is doing
>Government and papers sing praises of how well businesses are doing, how much they are contributing to high/rising GDP, and how it's thanks to immigration (because it is)

>Meanwhile
>The only way Steve can find work is to work for £6/hr at most
>Companies that look for his skillset increasingly unwilling to hire English workers as they are used to better conditions than the foreign workers, and are beginning to consider it strange that English people would *want* to do this job
>After all...the immigrants do the jobs we don't want to, right?
>Steve settles with a job after a long search, paying him £6/hr
>Has to move out of his house. Demand for housing has skyrocketed and rapidly moving way above his price range.
>He and his family have to move into a tiny, cramped flat in a nasty part of town, hemmed in by neighbours of all different nationalities that barely speak English. He's the only white guy on the block
>He and his family barely live paycheck to paycheck trying to bring up their child and support each other
>One day outside a pub, he hears a guy saying "I don't see why people think immigration is a bad thing! I mean, they do the jobs we don't want to do! Plus English people are too lazy to do most of those jobs!"
>Steve walks home with his head hung, his heart heavy in his chest, wishing he could afford to take his wife out to eat like he used to or have a pint with his mates in what used to be their local pub

And we wonder why the working class hate us and want to vote out of the EU.

Isn't a free market a typical British thing? I mean Leviatan and shit.

Trust to the invisible hand of free market.

That hand solves all problem here and look we are thriving. Literally superpower by 2015.

Now, what the fuck are you doing to prevent it from happening to another person?

Also I literally want out of the EU.

I never felt so alienated and humiliated.

Slavs are shit and cannot compete with mighty Western people.

Just come here and gas us in camps.

Now live with it.

Tbh senpai i don't care about the working class. I'm voting leave, but the working class can get fucked.

Hopefully we'll replace them all with robots once Are Nige deports all the migrants.
>>
This doesn't really happen. If a foreigner can do the job for half the money just as well as you then there's nothing wrong. If anything, having less income is a good excuse for not buying your kids degenerate shit like comics or video games. All that aside foreigners don't really take your jobs. They are either too stupid or too lazy and employers that favour cheaper foreign workers end up losing money. I don't think you realize how straight up stupid your average immigrant is. If they weren't, they would've just gotten a good job in their home country. The only jerbs that foreigners take are the ultra low skilled ones like picking veggies in a field which your average european won't do anyways.
>>

Except they didn't. They wanted to have their colonies outside free market. But US stepped on their dicks and forced Atlantic Charter that means the day of British Empire are over. Son outgrew his dad.

>too stupid or lazy

My colleague's father is a naval architect. He designs ships and future weapon systems for the Navy. He's one of the top in the industry, has two bachelors degrees (one from Cambridge) and a masters degree.

Yet his company (BAE and Babcock, who he is occasionally seconded to) are looking to Naval Architects from India who will do the same job for a tiny fraction of his (considerably) annual salary.

This is a a creeping threat that is gradually going to overwhelm our middle classes. Salaries will be reduced, standards of living will drop. We've already seen that in the last 20 years, with first time home buyers needing massive government assistance and the like.

There are many times more unemployed people than there are economic migrants.

The story doesn't add up.
>>
>>77392502
Also
>The only jerbs that foreigners take are the ultra low skilled ones like picking veggies in a field which your average european won't do anyways.

Are you kidding? In the south west, where I'm from, there are tons of seasonal jobs picking fruit and vegetables. Young people (18-24) do them, it's a done thing, we do the summer job, earn some money, make some friends, have good times, then go home for the winter and come back again next summer.

But in the south east, now that they've got cheap foreigners to do it they hire them. It's unskilled, so they flock to those jobs. Eventually, even if the local youth are willing to work for the wage offered, they don't want to because they will be surrounded by strange foreigners who work silently all day and trudge home at night. There's none of the sunny enthusiasm of the late teens/early twenties aged fruitpickers that you get down in Devon.

"The jobs that we don't want to do" is a misleading statement and a fallacious argument.
>>
>>77396117
>There are many times more unemployed people than there are economic migrants.

Yes, and? What's not to add up? Just because there are more unemployed people that economic migrants doesn't mean there aren't migrants in jobs that would once have been filled by natives.

That's a given. The point being that this only accounts for a small percentage of unemployed people but people act as if the working class is struggling to find jobs because of immigrants when that's obviously not the case.

Wage depression is a real thing. It's not simply that there are fewer jobs, it's that pay across the board is being driven down by competition from overseas and from workers from overseas coming to the UK and working for lower wages.

Nobody cares, look at all the rate rigging that's been done over the last 10 years that never gets reported on. Literally every single major and central bank is complicit.

Trillions of the "global economy" is just manipulated speculation.

It's to keep you where you are, and nobody cares enough to fix it because we're too easily distracted by the inconsequential.
>>
>>77388882
>>77388921
It's not just the EU. It's globalism wholesale.

Market liberalization in the 1980s was the biggest mistake in the world. The UK certainly had to make some liberalizations, sure, but the push for free movement of currency has had nightmarish effects.

Bretton Woods shouldn't have died, it should have moved from the USD to the Bancor.

>>
>>77395342
That has nothing to do with your OP though. That will keep happening with or without EU. I doubt there's anything anyone can do at this point, only thing that would stop globalization at this point would probably be WW3.
>>
>>77392502
>your average european won't do
Maybe if you'd pay more than the fucking minimum wage.

Stop artificially inflating the supply of labour and wages will rise to an appropriate level for Europeans to do the jobs [or companies will invest in automation.]
>>
>>77400527
Or they will move production overseas, because of >muh proffits.

>>
>>77388921

Okay first of, since when do soon-to-be-employees get to dictate how much (little) they want as salary?

Is there no official body in the United Kingdom that sets wages?
>>
>>77396268
Hate to break it to you but young people in the South-East tend not to be so keen on jolly farm labour than South-West bumpkins.
>>
>>77401177
Why would they need free movement to move their factories to china or wherever?
>>
>>77400412
Or tariffs or a moratorium on immigration
>>
>>77401554
Not free movement of people: Free movement of money.

Building a factory in China would rapidly become more of a pain in the arse than dealing with native workers.
>>
>>77388882

Also, how will leaving the EU solve any of this? Did Nigel and his boys manage to answer this question?

So far only Poles came to Britain thanks to the EU. But they arent the cause for any of your problems, your Indians and Pakistanis came waay earlier and they wont be going anywhere if you leave the EU.

Chances are, our good chap Steve will vote Leave, and then watch how the UK market collapses at least for the next decade and how situation only gets worse. Then Steve realizes the EU wasnt the source of his problems, but rather the cure.

Did you know how many businesses in the UK the EU is supporting through its monies that would otherwise have gone BANKRUPT? Go to the coast and ask the dock workers there how competitive they would be without EU help.
>>
>>77401454
>Is there no official body in the United Kingdom that sets wages?
Lol no. Even trades unions are cucked.
>>
>>77401807
because you can place trade and immigration barriers, at this point anybody coming from the eu the UK basically has to accept with open arms even if they terk jerbs when they come, I'm an ignorant amerifat and even I understand this
>>
>>77401937

so trade unions would have prevented this.

Good thing your hero Margaret Thatcher blew them the fuck away in the 80s.
>>
>>77402382
If not for the Falklands and prevailing circumstances, Thatcher would've been a one term PM. Before the war she was polling behind Labour and the SDP [Lib-Dems], after the war she was at the peak of her popularity.

Although it must be stated that unions were taking the piss in the 70s and this paid a huge part in their downfall. They got uppity after they toppled Heath and in doing the same to Callaghan brought their own nemesis to power.

Although if Callaghan had called an election in 1978, he might've gone on [allowing internal Tory pressure to topple Thatcher.] so there's always that.
>>
>>77401974
>because you can place trade and immigration barriers
It's not that simple. Businesses will suffer or go bankrupt trying to rise wages to the point where Steve can support his old lifestyle again or prices of commodities would go op along with the wages.
>>
>>77403068
free market at work.
>>

>working classes
An anachronistic word for laboring whites who, in suicidal fashion, continued voting for pro-brown leftists well past the point of no return.

There may be another "working class," in the future, but the one referenced by Marxism is dead and buried.
>>
>>77404972
In addition to this, it's the remainder of this white working class who voted left for so long who will be the first to feel the boot heel of the new order on their collective throats. The EU is nothing more than a symptom. The disease is whites workers allying with non-white hoards to punish their white brothers with more conservative and capitalist views.

Politics is war by another means and traditional politics made for give and take between the working class and other class interests as with pitched and honorable duels. At the end of the day due deference was given to the stability of society and no side was permitted to exercise treason in order to further their aims.

Gradually; however, the working classes became enthralled by the notion of unlimited support. They joined the international and advocated for and with the brown masses at the behest of intellectuals. They were greedy and feeling as though they had bested their masters they plowed forth with the political left until the whole of the white west was nothing more than a dumping ground for third world brown refuse.

And yet the moral of the tale is still elusive to many in the white working class of yore. They cling to their Jewish socialism, their so-called human rights, and their favorite Fabian nonsense phrases. They shriek and moan that no calamity could be worse than seeing the shredding of their leftist political machine. In time; however, the shrieking will stop. Not because the left lost it's halo, but because they were summarily ejected from the bosom of their beloved.

The left has found a new source of political power and the "working class," has found the reward for treason, even in victory, is death.
>>
>>77405970
>The left has found a new source of political power and the "working class," has found the reward for treason, even in victory, is death.
Fucking kek. The Labour party is doomed thanks to demographic problems. They always thought Scotland, Wales, and Northern England would have "nowhere else to go" and keep voting Labour as labour imported voters and moved right to capture the middle classes.

Well now Scotland's gone to the SNP and everywhere else is looking to UKIP, so a lot of fucking good that plan did them. To put together the conflicting desires of these vote-bases is impossible. Labour will not achieve majority government before 2030, if ever, unless a Conservative PM is found to be a pedophile while in office.
