Or they just realize marriage is a bad deal and have grown up seeing their parents or friends parents or uncles experiencing terrible divorce deals and having their life ruined.
It's hard enough to get on the job ladder these days as it is, and then secure stable employment and enough money for a house etc. Imagine spending years scraping for that, then getting married and having the woman divorce you and take all of it.
Women are volatile these days, it is not worth the risk.
