I am proud of the country my country used to be
My grandparents used to tell me of the greatness of what America was back in the 40's and 50's. How everyone was connected and the state wasn't getting into everyone's business. Your neighbors always had your back if something went wrong or the church for that matter. It was a time when people actually cared about their country. Everything started going downhill after Vietnam and Watergate. We had the sexual revolution and now everyone is free to do whatever the hell they want and not care about anything else. People are now endlessly consumed by computers, phones, sex, etc. I watch it everyday, the madness that surrounds us. People today only do things to be recognized by other mindless people. People stopped thinking and instead turned to glorifying themselves and whenever they fail they go to the state to bring them back up. They never do it themselves. I wish I was born into an America where we were free from the corruption, that is my dream.
More and more foreigners come here. Muslims, Hispanics, etc. They don't respect us and they will tear this country apart. Those of us that loan for old America, we are America's dying breath. It's sad.
