I'm the literal definition of a normie in terms of the inner workings of /pol/, I get the jist and all the kek jokes but I'm not like active or anything. I'm just your average redpilled dude.
I just wanna make this post or thread or whatever its called to make it aware that Hillary Clinton is NOT the first woman nominee. That title belongs to Victoria Woodhull, who was successfully nominated for the Equal Rights Party along with her running mate, Frederick f*cking Douglass, in 1872.
I make sub-par memes on pixlr editor, so I'm calling upon the sons of kek to start memeing and exposing the shit out of the Great Lie that Killary is the first woman nominee. Do good- we're in the midst of a war and it hinges on who can appeal to normies like myself the best!
>>
Did they win anything in the election? They didn't? Then what's the difference between Woodhull and any other random political party with a female leader? If there's no possibility of being elected, then they shouldn't be lumped in with other political parties. The reason why Clinton pushes her victory being historic is because she's the first female who is the nominee for a political party that has any hope of being elected. Not saying that people don't think that Woodhull was historic, because I think that people who know who she was would agree that that moment was historic, but it's not comparable.
>>
>>76590748
Also, as a testament to how insignificant Woodhull was to the 1872 election, the number of votes she received was never disclosed because it was deemed insignificant. Douglass didn't even acknowledge the fact that he was selected for Vice President.

It was just a well-known figure in women's suffrage trying to make history, and maybe trying to send a message.

If you weren't an autistic pedant, you would realize that people are talking about the first nominee running for one of the 2 major parties
>>
>>76591022
Oh I thought she broke a record for being the first criminal to be indicted by the FBI while running to become president. Hahah trump may seem like a loose cannon but Hillary is a straight up criminal! She only has appeal among blacks as she is the first white dindu!
>>
>>76590748
Is it wrong to call Hillary Clinton a shitty cover band of progressiveness?
She always ends up saying the same things sanders says and acts like has supported them but in the past she hasn't supported those ideas. I feel that she wasn't a pioneer in far left politics and if Bernie sanders didn't run she wouldn't dare say she is progressive.
>>
>>76591360
Con artistry isn't criminal anymore?

I hate to break it to you, but both the major party nominees are straight up gangster criminals.
>>
>>76591402
It's not, and I feel that that is a good description of her campaign. Most people have negative opinions on Clinton because of her personality, but her political standings are also shady.

A decade ago, her political ideology was completely different from what it is now. Clinton was a completely different politician, and she's constantly changing. She knew that she wasn't going to be able to beat Sanders if she didn't change, and that's where the present-day Clinton originated from.

Just imagine what kind of mental gymnastics she'll be going through during the Trump debates. She knows she won't be able to beat Trump is she continues pandering exclusively to the Sanders supporters, so she'll have to do something to appeal to Trump supporersts.

Trump's business decisions might have been morally questionable, but they're legal. I haven't seen any legitimate claims that Trump has been involved in any illegal activity.

It doesn't matter how you view the email scandals, it'll lead you to one conclusion; Hilary Clinton is a literal criminal.
>>
>>76591816
You dont get rich without sneakiness. Thank the crony capital system for that. No one, including Trump, survives business without looking out for no 1.

Which is why he is the best choice. No one knows the loopholes and weak spots like he does.
>>
>>76592461
Trump got rich by being born rich.
>>
>>76592232
He straight up lied, he told people they would get to meet him and he would be personally involved in their education and all they got were cardboard cutouts and upsells.
>>
>>76590385

CNN just aired something about how Shillary was inspired to become a politician by the second murrican nominee, some old lady named Smith.

Abuse of Process? Civil fraud?
>>
>>76592648
Like I said, the worst that he has done is morally questionable business decisions. If misleading advertisements for for-profit universities were illegal, then the for-profit university system wouldn't exist.

As a sanders supporter I am greatly concerned with what will happen to the progressive movement that we have seen. Bernie is going to fall in line with the party and endorse Clinton. Then to appease the sanders supporters she is most likely going to pick Elizabeth warren as her running mate.
Let me elaborate
1. As VP you really do nothing. So taking Warren out of the Senate where she can create laws and sticking her in a ceremonial position would only hurt the progressive movement.
2. Since she is a senator from Massachusetts if she was to vacate her seat then the sitting governor gets to pick a replacement (that is how Warren got her seat in the first place after John Kerry became Secretary of State). Right now in the state of massachuttes the governor is republican; and following logic he'd pick a conservative to fill that seat. So for the next 6 years there would be one less democrat in a republican supermajority in the senate

That would basically silence one progressive (sanders if he fell in line) and "act" like one is contributing to the party

I think you're mistaking civil law with criminal law

Trump has lost plenty of lawsuits. He's guilty of numerous common law offences. Its just that contract law doesn't impart a jail sentence.
>>
>>76593282
I can't find any, can you name any? I just find lawsuits that either he has filed, or articles about Trump University.
>>
>>76594083
>>76593282
I found this article, but it's mostly just lawsuits without any foundation or lawsuits that he has filed. However, the antitrust lawsuit and the pension lawsuit would probably fall under lawsuits that he has lost.

The last few election the Green Party candidate has been a woman too. Hillary is just the first woman of a major party to be nominated, one who has a chance of winning.

>I haven't seen any legitimate claims that Trump has been involved in any illegal activity
Man, let me explain you that casinos, model agencies and sub-par tv networks have "money laundering" written all over the place.

If Berlusconi taught us anything...
>>
>>76595143
Pretty sure he's not involved in any of those industries anymore.
>>
>>76595385
His children oversee most of the day to day operations, but his campaign hq is still run out of his trump tower. He also got caught using his first casino to get illegal "loans" from his father and they were fined heavily.
>>
>>76595884
I mean he doesn't own any casinos anymore, and he doesn't have any connections to the model industry. Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino doesn't operate anymore, and the Taj Mahal is controlled by Icahn Enterprises.

I might be wrong about modelling, but I thought he abandoned that after he started his campaign.

As far as I can tell his organization still owns and runs plenty of resorts and model agencies.

Control your sperging there, OP. I realize you just discovered politics this morning, but spend a few days catching up with everyone else before posting.

Hillary is the first woman to be nominated to a major party with enough standing to actually have a serious run at the Presidency. Everyone fucking knows that (except, apparently, you just found out).

Some of the news outlets are a bit breathless about it and state "first woman" and forget the qualifier "of a major party." However, most of them have been saying exactly that ... except spergelords lke you who have a hard time comprejending English and don't quite do nuance.

Take a few minutes off, masturbate or something and calm yourself. You're gonna hurt something.

> It's cool
> trump was only a criminal BEFORE 2016
> It's all good now.

This is how far has had to move the goalposts so far.

pro-hint: the statute of limitations has not run out on a fuckload of the nasty shit he's done; the 2016 election hasn't even really begun yet

tRumpU is just a snack before some of the real shit starts coming out. Hillary is keeping her powder dry until after tRump is anointed at the Cleavland Steamer in a few weeks. Opposition research on him has turned up binders full of dirt.

It ain't even begun yet.

Hillary will take it by about 55% popular vote (or more) and at least 350 Electoral College votes.

Screencap this and put it in a folder marked "Open on Election Day 2016."
