I know its probably been asked millions of times, but I guess I will ask anyway. Why Trump? What will make him so much more effective than any other candidate? Im currently a Hillary fag, realizing her flaws looking to be convinced to Trumps side.
>>

>What will make him so much more effective than any other candidate?

Nothing. Simply the fact that all the people who hate you also hate him should be reason enough.

explain?

Brings jobs back to America from China and Mexico by taxing outsourcing companies 35%.

Build a wall to keep illegal immigrants that do cause more crime than LEGAL immigrants and American-born citizens do, and OUT. Deport illegals back to Mexico too.
Democrats would never have a strong immigration policy, because voter fraud allows illegals to VOTE, which is a free Democrat vote.

"Bomb the shit out of" ISIS. End the petty bullshit once and for all.

Ban Muslims and don't invite muh peaceful refugees. You saw what happened in Europe and banning Muslims is the proper reaction to that.

Also, not a big one but a more underlying cultural one. Donald Trump is a very masculine person. His presidency would put a masculine tone back in the country overall. Takes out willing cuckoldry and this modern-day encouraged femininity and bowing-down to SJWs. He's bold and unafraid to make decisions.

Honestly, no one since Reagan has been like him in office.

I'm strongly against political correctness and illegal immigration.

Trump has a proven track record of being extremely successful in his endeavors. Don't mistake his bluntness for stupidity. He is a hardened and competitive leader who will, God willing, put this country back on track.

I guess my question would be, like currently shit is pretty ok here in the US from where I am personally. I am in the 1% of americans (surprisingly as an actor) so domestically I have few complaints. How will he help things internationally? Hillary was an attractive option because she had hella foreign policy experience.

so he knows how to run a campaign but his ability to run a campaign shows me nothing on how he is going to run a country.
>>
>Why Trump?
When he said he wanted to build a wall, that was one thing. But when he started talking about not letting non-American Muslims enter the country, that sealed the deal for most of /pol/

>What will make him so much more effective than any other candidate?
Nobody else (that seriously has a chance of becoming president) has been willing to tell it like it is when it comes to immigration, both legal and illegal.

Those are the main things.
>>
>>76363001
fair point
>>
>>76362824
>Hillary was an attractive option because she had hella foreign policy experience.
But is Hillary's foreign policy actually good? She was for the war in Iraq for a very long time (even longer than most democrats). Her tenure as Secretary of State saw many foreign interventions/wars (Egypt, Libya, etc.) Also Benghazi, where 4 Americans died, happened because of her negligence.

A lot of people are sick of constantly policing the world and protecting other nations while our own is falling apart. Trump has regularly spoken out against our foreign interventionism and wants a more sensible policy where we only directly battle Islamic extremists and not get tangled up in nation building and destabilizing the middle east.
>>

>>76362338
Are these his true concrete positions or is he gonna flip positions and pander to the right wing?
>>
>>76363134
He's specifically campaigning to show you how he's going to run the country. If he's doing well, campaigning, that implies that he would do well in charge
>>
>>76361799
Look at it like a business decision, when things are going great you stay the course you take the low risk option, the option that you know what you'll get (Hillary) but when things are going to shit you take the high risk chaotic option, sure it could end badly but you're already on a bad path so that isn't a big draw back and the unpredictability of it makes it so it might actually turn out okay. In short if you think everything is fine and good by all means vote Hillary, that is the candidate for you, if you think the world is going to shit vote Trump.
>>
>>76361799
Honestly? Nothing at all. Most of his policies are entirely untenable, fly in the face of the constitution, or both. His energy policy (one his few remotely concrete or established ones) is absolutely moronic and riddled with contradictions. He's a huckster.

He wants to increase natural gas production by opening up federal lands for fracking while simultaneously promising to restore the coal industry. The inherent superiority of natural gas as an energy resource is the main reason why coal is in the shitter. His desire to restore American manufacturing (which is actually doing fine as far as production capacity is concerned) while simultaneously deregulating the industry is simply incompatible with his support for "clean air and water."
>>
>>76363258
Can't that be said about any candidate?
>>
>>76361799
Trump is only on a roll with mainstream voters because he was the "Ya Fired" guy. People are voting for him because he's a meme. Autists on here are supporting the drivel that comes out of his mouth because it makes lefties mad or they are actually racist. Everyone else is voting for Hillary because they want muh woman president.

There's no good choice to make this November.

>taxing outsourcing companies 35%
And then they just completely outsource and station headquarters in Europe or Austrailia. Or stay in America but go all out with automation.
The fuck kind of retarded policy is that?
>>
>>76361799
for the love of god -- lets hope that Hilary takes on Biden for her VP, so that she will actually win the election, or we are stuck as Trump as president
>>
>>76362279
You cannot tax companies with offshore operations. You'd be taxing every multinational company.

The president cannot wave a magic wand and send back immigrants. What's he really going to do? He's going to vastly increase the size of the ICE. He's never talked specifically about deporting current illegals.

The US has been bombing the Middle East since the war on terror. Bombing doesn't work. It didn't work in Vietnam, it didn't work in the Middle East.

>>76362520
Russia was on decent terms with the US until they annexed Crimea. Normalising relations by lifting sanctions means you just let Russia invade a country with no consequences.
>>
>>76364664
Okay the coal thing is fair enough. But what Trump is saying in his press release basically that he would allow competition in the marketplace that would let coal get back on its feet if it's viable. Perhaps in some regions, coal would be the main energy source; I don't know all of the geographic details. I think that's fair.

As for clean air and water, I don't see it as contradictory. Bringing manufacturing back from overseas doesn't necessarily mean we end up like China with smog and crap everywhere. It just means we have a more solid domestic manufacturing base. If you consider any increase in emissions to be an affront to "clean air and water" well okay then that would be contradictory.

>>76362057
You have literally no representation in this country as a single successful straight white male. Your sole purpose is the bend knee to those less fortunate than you because of some immeasurable amount of privilege that you have never experienced directly. It wasn't because you worked hard and made good common sense and career motivated decisions. It's because you are white. You will be told this from the day you reach adulthood to the day you die. This man. This shining golden God of raw power and boundless grace, wants to prevent that. He whole heartedly believes that the only way to be successful is to work towards your idea of success. To not stop or back down because of what someone who has never been a slight influence in your life might say, or what arrogant wanting self entitlement people might put on you to fulfill. This man is a spear to the chains of oppersion that inch ever so closely to the hard working reasonable working class American by truly leveling the playing field and exposing every rotten core that the United States government has deep in it recesses. He needs to happen. Not because he is a smart man, not because he is a powerful man, not because he is a determined man. But he will free us from the next 8 years of systemic oppresion of an otherwise dying breed of intellectual and stoic American citizens.
>>
>>76361799
Hopefully Trump wins if not for anything but KEK value.

But nothing will change.

/pol/ is too retarded to realize this. The System is too big and too complex to be pointed in a new direction. Take Obama - the most bleeding heart liberal sap of a POTUS in recent memory and he couldn't even shut down gitmo. Now, there's all kinds of reasons for that but the point is that here's something Obama strongly believed in - a core election promise to close a military prison, the same military he is Commander in Chief of, but one that he can't possibly affect.

Trump will likewise be bound by the restraints of political forces and the apparatus of Government despite his convictions, just as his successors will.

Burgerbros, you can't get off the ride, sorry.

>>76361799
Go to thereligionofpeace.com and redpill yourself on Islam. Trump is the only candidate who can save us
>>
>>76365300
There's already competition in the marketplace. Coal is the clear loser, and deregulating it won't change that. As much as I detest Hillary, she at least has a comprehensive plan for ailing coal communities.

We'll have to agree to disagree about air pollution and manufacturing.
>>
>>76365064
I really don't want to vote for Hillary because I don't know about her character, but I feel like it's the safest choice to just keep things as they are. I feel like Trump could send us to hell in a handbasket, but with Hillary at least I can count on bootyblasted republicans to go out in droves and make sure that the House and Senate is filled in such a way it nullifies anything she tries to do.
>>
>>76361799
Neat tax plan, an across the board tax cut for all americans, including a 0% rate for the lowest income bracket. He also wants to eliminate the estate tax (aka the death tax) and reduce corporate taxes to make the US competitive in the global economy (which creates leverage in deals with China, Mexico, etc.).
If Trump has to compromise this tax plan, he's on the record for putting more value on the tax cuts for the poor over the rich. In general, Trump's rhetoric is the least apologetic to the rich out of the entire GOP field, which is probably why he opted for self-funding his campaign.

>>
>>76365910
Half of Americans already don't pay net taxes. It's a massive red herring. All its going to do is make people who need tax credits like parents pay more while people who can afford it pay less. A family of four is going to pay the same amount as two single guys.

Corporate taxes are taxes on profits. And tariffs will fuck everything.
>Americans

At least half of the people on this board are unemployed and on assistance or wage slaves working a mcjob. They probably live with their parents. They pirate all of their media. They have "waifus" and masturbate to hentai when they aren't too busy jacking it to shemale porn. And let's not even get into the "white" debate.
The only thing you have right is 'single'.

The people on this board have no representation because everyone here is a damn degenerate.

He's a business man, I feel if Trump gets in, the U.S will go from less of a strong-arm political power and become more of an Economic make a deal power to the benefit of everybody.

Also he represent the swing back on the pendulum, you can resist the change or you can embrace it and ride the sweet wave into the new era. Are you a renegade op?

We non-americans know more about americans than americans themselves.
Doesn't matter if Trump is good or evil, ever since he's running for president the whole media and american intellectuals started repeatedly telling the people how they can't vote for Trump.
And history is the written proof that the only sure way to make the Americans do a thing is telling them how they can't do that thing.

>I guess my question would be, like currently shit is pretty ok here in the US from where I am personally. I am in the 1% of americans (surprisingly as an actor) so domestically I have few complaints. How will he help things internationally? Hillary was an attractive option because she had hella foreign policy experience.

This is the main problem, look at her foreign policy, she pushed Obama to overthrow Libya and basically destroyed the entire country, the chaos led to weapons spreading into the region and contributed to ISIS. Her foundation was largely funded by the Saudi and Qatar regimes. The Saudis are comparable to North Korea in terms of being one of the worst dictatorships in the world and surpass anything Saddam or Gaddafi ever did.

Civilian deaths that resulted from her choices would be in the hundreds of thousands already. Her presidency would likely involve large scale conflicts as she took action that her Saudis backers demanded. This would involve destroying the Syrian government which would escalate into a broader conflict with Russia, Iran and Iraq. Saudi backed Sunnis would probably genocide all non muslims and shia muslims in any areas they were able to control while the russian conflict would spill over into eastern europe. Casualties would be in the millions.

What the fuck is wrong with democrats? All this information is well known and despite claiming to be progressive many democrats are happy to vote for Hillary. I'm disgusted at the US democrats and their supporters, at least the crazy right/left extremes are dumb enough to think they are helping. While democrats just don't give a fuck, they're so self absorbed and are happy for the world to burn as long as it doesn't impact them directly.

As a foreigner I would consider the US democrats the most aggressive and vile war mongers of any major power at the moment.

Don't forget the huge deficit it would generate.
>>
>>76366250
There are separate thresholds for married, single, and Heads of Household filers, scaled appropriately.
Higher tax brackets still get to keep most of their deductions either way.
Yeah it's probably gonna leave a deficit if it passes as-is (which is extremely unlikely), but Hillary won't exactly make a single inch of headway either. The deficit problem is about the spending not the taxing.
Also, imposing any kind of tariff to any country is as much of an official position of Donald Trump, though it's possible he would resort to imposing one.
