What made you choose his side, /pol/?

Was it something he proposed? Is it only because he's the least politically correct of the candidates? Is it because he's the least shitty and pandering tryhard of the candidates?

Cheers America. Hope he wins.

For me it's 3 big things:

1) He has a cult of personality and the media never shut the fuck up about him. I never heard a peep from the world service on anything but Trump Trump Trump constantly.

2) I don't like American exceptionalism. That means we can't be the world police. I don't like us spending billions of dollars in upkeep in bases ringed around Russia. The threat just doesn't exist anymore. I also don't like the idea of the US not treating itself like any other country (which means looking out for it's own interests before the interests of others) which it hasn't been doing for the longest time. That manifests as less one-sided trade deals and the wall

3) he's from New York. Which might seem silly but he's a new York republican, meaning he's basically a Democrat with sense in his head. He is into giving the people what they want and he doesn't (by and large) play race politics or participate in the sjw oppression Olympics the new left seems to revel in.

may not be american, but let's be honest the motfucker is really good at making people paying attention to him and is somewhat charismatic. To me, he's the only sane person in a gang of fuckers who have clearly lost their minds and what to destroy US and drag everyone into the abyss with them.

How do you feel about his immigration policies?
>>
>>76156117
Not everyone wants to leave Mexico. If you have an education it's not that bad. And if you have an education, you probably don't have a hard time legally emigrating.

I'm so fucking glad I'm not American. Trump is what everyone hates about politicians. No substance, no beliefs, just marketing and lies and pandering. He's the right version of Hillary. The world would be better without bothe of them.

Except Hillary has experience with how the broken and corrupt system works, and is an absolute product of it. She's just waiting for the general election to pull out the "I have a vagina" card.

I feel like she would have been an okay person to elect in 2008 but we can't have her as the successor to Lord Milquetoast Politics Obama. They're just to soft and flipfloppy. Her foreign policy experience would have served the Isis Crisis much better than "love everyone except the people we dronestrike for oil" obamanatrix

This interview.
https://youtu.be/H-DSfvYCKwY

I had no interest in Trump. Really didn't give a shit. I just thought he was some rich guy who was good at business. Never heard anything controversial about him.

Watched the interview and was instantly hooked. He did exactly what I've been waiting for politicians to do. He knew the interviewer was just trying to trap him, he didn't take her seriously, he absolutely dominated the interview and treated her like a child. The entire interview sent a powerful message. He basically laid out what he wants to do and he isn't taking any shit. The reporter tried to stump him, but she couldn't. Trump thought it was pathetic and just laughed it off. She was wasting his time.

For the first time in years I saw that the media was wasting a politicians time. He wasn't desperately trying to please an all powerful media person. He looked like he didn't even want to be there because the interviewer was a dumb bimbo who can't even ask a question.
Trump is the death of media tyranny and I agree with 95% of his opinions.

he's the best chance we've got, you stupid fuck. He may not be 'literally hitler', but if he were it would make him unelectable. Just be happy that he isnt promoting multicuckturalism. Suck it up and vote for him, because any alternative is worse

as surprising as it might sound, not everyone is suffering on this side of the border. Although it's true that the insecurity shit is a major issue if you're careful and not mess with the wrong person, work your ass off and manage your money smartly you can have a comfortable life here. The only people butthurt about the wall (mostly) are the brainless chicanos rioting and attacking trump supporters (i watched the san jose riot and it was fucking disgusting to see those idiots beating people up for doing nothing more than showing their increasing discontent with the government letting immigrants in), the politician and the families whose lives depend on the remittances, aside from them nobody really care (of course the negotiation of anew agreement with trump after getting rid of nafta will hurt both economies a little, but hopefully both will recover in due time). As some have stated in the past on this board, the ones crossing the border are our illeterate and criminals (our jamals and tyrones)..so, if we don't want to see the downfall of the caucasians, build wall, many here see it as something positive (you think i'm not aware what those morons will do once they become the majority...nothing good i assure you)...build it and euthanized any hispanic who have committed a crime.

If I had to pick one thing I guess it would be the potential for competency, strange as that may sound to some.

I don't know if the rumors about his IQ are true, but they're believable based on my experience.
>>
>>76156184
not offended in the slightest. I live in my country and have a comfortable life. Learning more everyday and becoming more and more aware how fucked up things are thanks to the system. I think the wall is a good idea, you can d whatever the hell you want because IT IS YOUR COUNTRY, not theirs...
>>
>>76158140
I think the immigration problem is is key. My country has two huge borders, one with Canada and one with Mexico. You've got to have your anus choking your neck off if you don't want both to be prosperous, peaceful places.
>>
>>76156332
He is obviously playing politics but it's easy to see he supports the core of his platform (immigration/sovereignty) from his history over the past 30 years, you only need to dig slightly beyond the mainstream media.
>>
I like his proposed tax policies, economic policies, and foreign policies.

Put America first by restricting illegal immigration (but welcome legal immigration) and tariffs on foreign goods, and put the American first by putting money back in his pocket rather than pretending the government knows better how to spend his money to benefit everyone (since they clearly don't).

1. Political correctness. There are hate speech laws that make most of my political beliefs illegal in Europe. I do not want to see America go down that path, and the only way we can stop it is by sending a loud, clear message to this vocal minority of professional victims, that freedom of speech is nonnegotiable, no matter how much it hurts your feelings. We must preserve our free and open discussion, no matter whose on 'the wrong side of history' or how 'hurtful' anyone's speech is. Trump being elected won't solve this problem outright, but his mere presence will change the narrative. Its kind of hard to say "your beliefs are primitive and backwards and are against the flow of history" when the President of the United States is shouting your beliefs on twitter every fucking day.

2. Immigration. By 2050 America will be a Latino country if something is not done. I do not want this to happen, for both racial, cultural, and political reasons. If America becomes Hispanic, especially flooded with all these poor hispanics, the Republican party will be banished from politics forever. We'll never win another election, we will be now and forever a socialist country. Also, it amounts to genociding whites by population replacement, so fuck that noise.

3. His policies. I like his views on immigration, the military, health care, taxes, the economy, trade. All in all he has good ideas.

4. His personality and the cult thereof. He is hilarious and alpha and larger than life, and a genius, and its magnificent watching the man work.

5. Because he has all the right enemies. You can tell a lot about a man by the enemies he keeps, and Trump has good enemies. Both political parties, the corrupt media, the SJW, European politicians, ALL hate this guy? Trump has the best enemies.

6. He makes liberals unbelievably butthurt, and I am for, on principle, anything that causes leftists to suffer.

yes, though i don't think thing are that fucked up with the leaves (they sure are cucked with all the "progresist" propaganda, but the rate of immigrants can not be compared to that of mexico. We've reached the point where serious measures must be taken to prevent more shit from happening and if building a wall on your southern border is necessary, then so be it, you can't go on like this because it will be your dead (culturally and racially)...the hatred that some have for latin americans is understandable (even i as mexican do not understand that behavior of mexicans of waving mexican flags and doing the idiot things they do, i simply don't get it) and they fear things will get worse (like in europe, i mean, at first i thought the white people were exaggerating but holy shit, after doing some research and not buying into the shit msm gives people, it's bizarre as hell and anyone in his right mind can tell you things will end up really bad)
>>
>>76158885
Well the real underlying problem with borders is that we're all taking in people that belong in their homes and with their families halfway around the world. As the terrorism intensifies, it will become increasingly necessary to secure the border against Canada, which is not nearly as practical as against Mexico. And really we shouldn't need either one of them. The fact that we all share these huge, unsecured borders and mostly don't need to worry about them is an amazing statement about how advanced we are as a continent.

But when different peoples are rammed into each other then the invariable result is more of a police state. It's so much more important than anything else that we stop the people forcing us into this situation before it gets even more out of control.

I supported Trump because my American brothers said he's their man and I want what they want and what's good for them. Then I watched his Foreign Policy speech and his support for brexit. Now I LOVE Trump.
