The meme, Argintina is not white is not true, it's definitely whiter than the south. Most of the people I encountered were just as tan or whiter than me, who has Italian, and English ancestry.
Anyway I have a degree in finance from the university of Georgia, and I was wondering how hard it will be for an American to find a job. I can speak Spanish, but you can tell it's not my first language.

That's Buenos Aires, we are pretty much Argentina alongside with Santa Fe and Cordoba. But if you go outside, to others providence you will find the native descendents, for example, with small population Salta yet they have one of the most higher crime rate.
So basically, Argentina is great but only if you stay in Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Santa Fe

I was in Bueno Aries, what a beautiful city. It's amazing the European influence in Argintina, there was mostly Italian food and good wine, the women were beautiful and not prudish, and the architecture was amazing. Also the cost of living is insanely cheap compared to America.
One more question, in your experience, how hard or easy is it to find affordable housing in buenos Aires. I was looking at apartments and they seem cheap compared to American prices [400/month] but I'm skeptical it's that cheap because it is in a bad aera in buenos Aries.

The city overall is generally safe but as a general rule of thumb North suburbs > South suburbs regarding prices and safety.

Mostly white, middle class, safe neighbourhood. We have some American and European expats here and they blend in just fine.

Most people in Buenos Aires speak at least some English, the neighbourhoods I listed before have private bilingual schools where most upper-middle class argie children go, and the public school teaches English too. (Though not at such a high level)
If you are looking for actual British descendants, there is a network of hospitals called "Hospital Britanico" (British Hospital) which cater to the Anglo-Argentine community. They attend to patients in Spanish or English as required.
It's really good healthcare, I do my checkups there.
