1. War and economic conflict is inevitable and desirable, its what pushes humanity forward. Denying this amounts to denying evolution.
2. The coming space age will render pan-species government impossible. If FTL is possible, mankind will scatter to the winds, and never be seen under one rule again. If it is not, the sheer distance will prevent any kind of mass government.
