Not limited by much and taxes are minimal. You can get anything you could ever want from the land, the soil is amazing, the summers are beyond perfect, and just like in Scandinavia there is a time during the year when you have almost 24 hour sunlight.

They're really not. They tend to run more than equivalent apartments in both the long and short term. The only way they become cheaper is by living far away from the city, where land itself is cheaper, but at that point, you may as well just have a camper/TV-like bungalow anyway instead of something with a septic tank all of 2l large and lights that run off a friggin' gas engine's alternator.
