Especially concerning the growing deficit and debt as the trend started during Reagan's administration. His foreign policy during the cold war is obviously extremely controversial. Republicans like to worship him like he was some sort of god, but in my opinion hes pretty much just the last non-shitty republican president and not worth the praise he gets. I'm a physics teacher in my state and I can assure you it is because kids who come from bad neighborhoods are fucking shit heads. Anyone who is good at teaching or holds a rare certification would rather teach in an area where the kids are going to behave. The number 1 reason teachers quit teaching is because the kids are shit heads and that is why minority teachers have a much higher attrition rate than normal teachers, school of mostly black kids will hire a black teacher because they think he will be more relatable to the students, the students will act like fucking cock suckers constantly so they quit. Minority teachers who teach at majority white schools don't quit at a higher rate than white teachers.
And a lot of city Schools have fucking retarded policies. I remember 3 years ago talking to a super intendent and his school would cap your pay if you didn't get an ms within 3 years. Also they wouldn't pay for you to get the ms, until after your 4th year because everyone they hired saw that policy, said fuck this shit, and left for another school before their third year
