I assume you only have the kit lens, so I'll keep away from the technical aspects.

It's a dragonfly. Not bad for a nature shot, but it is still a snapshot. Try putting it in better context next time, the insect in itself is not special enough for the subject. Just ask yourself, would you print it and put it on the wall to look at it for months? How much will it take to get bored of it?

This one is nice. Well edited, nice gradient in the sky. I assume it is cropped, the vignetting looks uneven.
I like how you went with the silhouette editing, altough there isn't much leading the eyes. A bit too sterile for me.
Get a good filter kit (Cokin A or P) with ND and grad filters, also use the lens profile correction next time in post.

I refuse to say anything about these.

Its body is reasonably in focus, so that's good, but it's not perfect. When you're doing insect macros, you've got to be fucking tack sharp. The fact that his wings are blurry just makes this meh. Also, that background way the fuck too busy for a shot like this, especially with the see-through wings. The subject is completely lost in the frame. Also, the editing is dull and lifeless. Insect macros need life and vibrancy. This is muddy and dull. Also, your colors are fucked up. You've got some nasty color casts in the shadows.

Silhouettes only work in two instances: (1) The sky is fucking amazing. (2) The shape is fucking amazing. You've got neither. You can get by with one or the other, (though preferably you need both for a truly great shot), but here you've got a boring as fuck sky against a boring as fuck mountain. For fuck's sake, the glow in the sky isn't even positioned well in the frame. The whole thing fees rushed and of balance.

That aspect ratio is fucked up. I'm not one to say that you must adhere to a specific aspect ratio, but that's just fucking garbage. If you want to go square, go square. If you want a portrait orientation shot, then go for that. But this almost-but-not-quite shape is shit. Also, the editing is, again, dull and lifeless. Also, there doesn't appear to be any thought to composition. It's just a pile of fish heads.

This is a dead-on version of the last picture. All the things wrong with the last one apply to this one.
