Prepared these for matting and framing, hence the white border.
Any CC welcome, but please make it CC and don't waste your and my time writing posts that won't help.
I'm mostly interested in your opinions on dodge&burn.. is it too much?

I got the feeling this one is a little too dark, but it matches the overall "theme".

Honestly only these to work for me.
>>2877333
>>2877343
The rest are trying to be street photography but lack anything interesting going on. There are no characters or moments that I want to know more about and no composition/light play that make the images stand alone without said characters/moments.
>>2877333
I particularly like whatever editing you did to this one.
I wouldn't bother printing the rest.
Didn't expect replies to come in so fast at this time of the day.
>>2877355
thanks. I'm thinking about narrowing it down to maybe half the amount.

>Wish you got higher to make the sea on the umbrella merge with the actual sea.
Honestly, I didn't think of this, but yes, it would have been more interesting.

>I'm guessing that's just from compression?
I hope so. These look evenly unicolor black on my monitor in the original.
Even framing above and below the windows removes her from the golden angle/ratio; see attached.
The cut off head bothers me a little, but on the other hand I think the photo shows what it is about. I'm unsure on this one to be honest.

The light on the upper right is quite distracting. The flare looks pretty "funky". I'd clone it out.
>>2877335
would've been a lot better without the signs in the window which is not yr fault tho.
where from germany?

what did u take these with? what film?
I hate this very high contrast style that everyone does these days to try to be edgy.

I'd keep the other one. It sort of gives the illumination context and helps the composition.

Hi there!
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bait to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
>>2877468
Thank you. I usually drop the trip now when writing in a thread I didn't open myself.
For better readability I use it if I open a thread.

I've examined them all trying to find something I like and trying to find a reason to make them worth looking at but it's imposisble. All of your shots are absolutely wank and do not convey a thing. You should start from earlier stages and learn new tricks, but that's just my opinion.

no reason to argue personal opinions. many thanks for your contribution.
