I feel like the problem a lot of beginners have is pertinent to your shots OP. Although there are a couple of exceptions, most of these shots are technically correct in that you can use your camera competently, but your next step is learning composition. Have a look over these photos again and think what's interesting about them, because I find myself saying "so what" to almost all of them.

Making minimalist subject matter into powerful or dramatic works of art takes more experimentation and practice than people think. It's also common for many artists to translate constructive criticism into people just not appreciating what they are trying to do, when in fact they are trying to help make what you do better, which is the reason you posted right?
One of the best crits i ever got early on what "Why should i [the critic talking to me] care about this?" It's a challenge to the artist to look deeper, push further. And study composition. Start with the golden mean and rule of 3s. And get some editing software. Good luck!
