Even I know that the Lift and Gamma is way overblown red while the Gain is fairly balanced.
Red shadows just look stupid. Mids should be red and shadows should be blue.
Unless you're going for a "horribly outdated technology for the sake of artistic appeal" kind of look.

In this pic I used both balance and zones for colour to make the colours pop (the leaves were a bit too blue so I adjusted hue as well) and then turned down saturation to take the extreme colours out.

The weird thing is, I'm using a panasonic vario 14-140mm but when I apply the profile for an Olympus 14-150mm it looks better. Lines get more parallel and vignettes disappear.

Have you added some super cheesy edge shading to this, or is it all in the framing? It looks like a combination of both to me.
As a thumbnail it looks ok, but at full size, the colours look all wrong and the out of focus tree is like eye-sandpaper.
I've personally tried a lot to include out of focus foreground elements in my photos, to give a sense of 3-dimensionality to them, but I've found that it can often just look like theres a big out of focus tree in the way.
The key for me is that they must be a much smaller part of the composition than you might use normally (say 1/6th of the frame, rather than 1/3, because they are never the subject), and well balanced with the other elements in the frame (such as foreground car exits stage left, while subject is moving right through the frame).

The actual composition of the shot frames it perfectly, so the extra fake and gay edge effect is probably completely unnecessary.
Maybe just turn it down to like 10% opacity, and just add (or unremove, depending on the lense you used) a very subtle normal vignette, and you'll get 90% of the effect with only 10% of the obnoxiousness.
Regarding the colour, it's just way too red and a little too warm. It's always a balancing act in these light conditions to stop the earth and timber looking grey or purple even, but you've just gone a bit too far in one direction.

No, it's not. Some images will have reduced saturation, but they are normally done for a reason, it suits the particular image. Flat and uninteresting does nothing for your photo that is already underexposed and boring.

Who cares about that man, anyone who thinks a good photo needs to be completely noise free and tack sharp is an idiot.
Framing could be a bit better, in this case more water and less sky would have benefited. Also maybe crop in a little on the left to create more symmetry. Other than that not bad, I agree the colours are nice.

All these guys wouldn't take that pic. I appreciated this because it was sharp, PP'd well, and had a decent subject. The other photographers I listed couldn't even manage that. What critique would you give that pic? I love the concept! Sadly, the star appear surreal to me, almost as there was only a scattered line of them. If you could merge your subject with a seperate star shot, no over the top milkyway stuff, it would probably improve the pic, in my opinion
