Since you're looking at mediamarkt go to the store and check several cameras. The last thing you want is to spend all your shekels in a camera which ergonomics you hate.

That said, since you're a broke student Canon will offer you some sweet glass for cheap like the pancake 24mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.8, both less than 150$. I shoot Nikon and don't regret it (awesome ergonomy, dynamic range and generally over the top bodies and lenses), but I spent almost twice as much on my primes than I would if I had chosen Canon.
Also when you upgrade to an 80D/D7200 level things are pretty much the same in both bodies in terms of pure specifications (iso performance, fps, dynamic range, AF capabilities...) so don't worry that much for now.
